In case you all forgot, we have a game tomorrow. We get to go to Old Trafford without a manager. Joy. I'll let Dirt work his magic with the informational side of the matchday thread, I can't be bothered right now.

Of course, we'll win. Duh. Everything about this club defies logic.

Freaking 2-0 or something to the Toon.

36 years and 24 matches, longest current streak for any team without a win at Old Trafford. #25 will be the most ever for a team visiting the "Theatre of Dreams".

Unless we appoint Curbs coach in the next 24, I say it's an embarassing blowout.

Is Oba Martins available? He's listed at Paddy Power as an 11/1 favorite to score first for NUFC. There's also a bet that if he scores at all you get back any first goal/last goal wagers. I figured he'd be off to Africa by now.

Thx,

Jay!

I had heard Nigeria said we could keep him for the ManU game and then he will join up with his team.

Let's hope the post-sacking bump works out this time.

Either a horrible defeat (probable) or a suprise win (unlikely)

But it will be a nice send off before we wave goodbye to our club as 'arry takes over

I am wondering whether Pearson will be using Sam's approach and tactics for this game or whether he will let the players open it up a little. I think we do better with Sam's approach, at least for this week, since the players have been playing that way all season, but I don't have much hope either way. I am afraid this one could be ugly no matter what strategy is used.

Indeed!! someone buy this man a drink....

<sigh> but that not gonna happen.

CRonaldo to nail Carr's (or whatever warm body we put in for Beye) feet the touchline, do a zillion stepovers and score three

Tevez with four and Rooney with a boot to Cacapa's head.

Like the rest of you I really want to see Newcastle pull off the surprise win in this one. 2-1 would be nice. However, with the way ManU plays, I'll be happy if the squad holds ManU to under 3 goals.

Wake me when they sign a new manager. UGH! :p

I'm gonna go to Yoga as opposed to watching the game live. I'll record it and wait until I'm in a relaxed state to watch this dribble. 4-1 Man United. (however, if we win I'll of course take credit for calling it)

Nice, just what I wanted to see, Bambi and Duke leading the line. I have a feeling that this could get ugly.

Aforementioned (http://www.newcastleutd-mad.co.uk/news/loadnews.asp?cid=TMNW&id=371929) links. (http://www.setantasports.com/en/Sport/News/Football/2008/01/11/Premier-League-Newcastle-lose-Martins-hope/)

I have thoughts on the matter but I'd better keep them to myself lest I get in trouble. I'll leave it at this: they promised he'd be available, but we should have seen this coming.

They probably think he will go to Italy and never come back.

Not sure which is funnier, you in a relaxed state of mind or that you do yoga to achieve it?

Do you fart just after you reach the Yoganidrasana?

A bright spot.

Nicky Butt has been officially credited with that goal against Chelski. Things are looking up.

Thx,

Relaxed is a relative term, I'm less fired up after would have been a better way to put it.

What would you rather do? Watch us get humped by a ginger who robs houses and a grease ball diving twat or look at fit women stretching in tight clothes?

Exactly.

And just moments into the game, in what is the first of I'm sure two-handsful of loose passes, bad positioning and ultimately a red card, Captain Alan Smith gives up on a pass that nearly leads to a Rooney goal.

Alan Smith is ********ing useless. He should have went with FSA.

Thx,

Jay!
