Back to Zapata tough. I'm not a Steaua fan, but I think he's their most successful transfer in the last couple of years.

haha dont worry about them edgar.... we kind of bitter towards romania because of 94 and 98 :)

any way Zapata really isnt all that great.... he sucks coming out of the box...

we have tried him 2x in the NT with awful results, 1st he got him self red carded for wasting time against the US in Copa America, and 2nd he let Peru score 2 really stupid goals in a friendly because coming out of the box he blows......

If u know any scouts tell them to look in colombia for CBs and Goalies cause we have countless amazing ones

Dude Zapata doesn't suck, he made two honest mistakes that really shouldn't define his abilities. It's like saying Guarin sucks because of the instant red he got in a friendly or that Aldo sucks because he didn't manage teh team well in his two games, or that Mcnelly sucks because of that horrid job he did in Peru and Paraguay.

Actually Big Mac is a perfect example, remember how he disappeared in the friendlies with Peru and Aparaguay, but have you seen his super sub role in the Argentina and Venezuela game?

Zapata was crucial to Cucuta in the lib and I'd put my hand out there and say he is destined for big things....

By the way Edgar, Romanians are cool...I met an Romanian girl in my Italian class in college and she was pretty awesome, pretty and really down to earth...I've yet to meet a stuck-up Romanian girl. But then again, I don't know too many Romanians....

He's a hell of a keeper at the club level though and I hope he excels in Romania.

Zapata IMO is an injury away from being the man. I have nothing against Julio because he is also an excellent golie but Zapata cat like reflexes are amazing. He is to me the best Colombian keeper right now.

From what I understand, FC Sevilla has shown interest in Zapata, remember they played against Steau in Champions, where he helped close the gap for Steau. However, he has been valued at 4 million euros by Sevilla and 10 million by Steau (thats what I understood from my rustic Romanian)

This kind of confirms what our Romanian friend had said earlier....for now, it's simple speculation until something more legit pops up...but you might be able to add Sevilla as a club of interest, although with cautioned sources...
