El Salvador 1 - Canada 0. Apparently an 85th minute penalty. A poster fluent in Spanish who did some play by play on the voyageurs board said El Salvador penalty considered dubious by El Salvador radio announcers. Can't say one way or another myself. 2nd Leg in Kelowna.

I'm pretty sure the Houston game was a friendly for Honduras' full national team.

Haiti is playing (or has already played?) Honduras in an Olympic qualifier in the Orange Bowl today. The Haitian federation chose Miami for their home game because they can make a lot more money selling tickets in Miami than in Haiti.

Here's a link to a good article provided by kpaulson in the MLS News & Analysis thread:

http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/soccer/7274470.htm

Does anyone have any results yet for today's games?

Haiti was "hosting" Honduras and Jamaica was hosting Guatemala in Olympic quallies.

the game was in your back yard - The orange bowl -
martinez opened the score 4 minutes into the game, and stayed that way

So, as I understand it...

Panama has beaten St. Lucia 13-1 on aggregate.

El Salvador leads Canada 1-0 with the second game to be played in Canada.

Honduras leads Haiti 1-o with the return leg in Honduras.

The US leads St. Kitt's 6-0 with the second leg to be played in the U.S.

The winners of the above four groups will face eath other in Group A in Mexico.

The winners of these next three groups will be paired with host Mexico in the other group.

Costa Rica leads Guyana 3-0 with the return leg in Guyana.

T&T tied Grenada 1-1 with the return leg in Trinidad.

Jamaica beat Guatemala 2-0 with the second leg in Guatemala.

Is all this information correct?

Costa Rica won 7-0 over Guyana. Other than that you were spot on.

At game time it should be 2 degrees C as Canada hosts El Salvador tomorrow in Kelowna BC. ES press has the team stocking up on winter clothing in the LA airport.
Canada has to rebound from a 1-0 deficit.

Here's the visitors 'enjoying' a workout:

Yeah.

Impressive that they came back to win after giving up their lead on the road.

So, Jamaica and Panama are through to the final 8 along with host Mexico. The US is a half away from joining them.

Anyone here any scores from Haiti-Honduras, T&T-Grenada and El Salvardo-Canada?

Canada vs El Salvador won't be starting until 7:00pm PST I think. I'll try to post something later. There is a game tracker at www.canadasoccer.com/eng/index.asp but it's a bit slow.

Radio Guanaca has live audio of Can vs ES.
The Canadian site above has a match tracker that's pretty good for this game.
