MLS WPL Table for games through August 10, 2002.
The table for this week includes 7 games: the four played on August 10 and the three mid-week games played just before the All-Star game. There were no blowouts, so 21 points were available. We had 41 active participants and a median score of 6.5.
The Weekly Cup - quicksand won the Weekly Cup by two points over the rest of the field. Wild Kitten continued her recent hot streak, finishing second after recording a Weekly Cup win in July. Three of the top four in the league standings are among the logjam at 6th, with 8 points each.

The First Division - The top four remain bunched within 2.5 points, while the gap back to fifth has now widened to 14.5 points. DenverFan continues to lead the way, while empennage moved back into second, a place he's held for much of the year. JBLazini24 and babytiger2001 also had good weeks. Our cup winner, quicksand, used his excellent performance to gain promotion to the First Division, along with NNCRed.
