Who support more then one team . 1st off let me just say this is not having a go at anyone ( not even you rakim :D) but seriously how do you do it ?:confused: it’s something that has annoyed me for a while...I just don’t understand it. I have always been the type who believes in supporting one team in every sport that I follow.
What do you do if your two teams are playing each other hope for a draw ?
Help me out on this one

I support 1 club, and 1 country, although I've kept loyalties to Manchester United since I was a kid, but whenever we moved to different places I've always "supported" the local team where I live....
San Jose Earthquakes (NASL)
San Jose Clash (MLS)
LA Galaxy (MLS)
DC United (MLS)
Although, when I say "support" I mean go to games and root for occasionally. (although we had season tickets to the San Jose teams and the Galaxy.) I've never fully adopted DC United, but I dislike their rivals, so it works out.
Anybody who knows me knows that I'm Manchester Mad, so it's rarely an issue.

I support Man Utd, but as a brazillian and futebol lover, I mainly support Vasco da Gama.
But there others teams that I like to see playing like Milan, Barça...

Far me when I started being on this forum I liked Man United and Real Madrid. But the more time I spent here its been less and less Madrid. Only one United. In the Barca-Madrid game I found myself wanting each team to score just to make it more interesting. And Beckham leaving Madrid must have had something to do with it:p
So I only like United, and Israel of course, also England
I think its alright if someone supports a team from different countries like Milan or Lyon etc etc, but when it comes down to it you got to have a favorite team. For example I dont hate Lyon I would like them to win their league, or Milan to win Sierie A, or Madrid to win La Liga, but it doesnt even come close to United.

I'm not as big a Fire fan as I am of United, but like Motter I think its good to support the local team, especially as I like to see MLS and the USA team improve over time. It's obviously not Premier League quality, but its good enough that I'll pay for it and close enough that I can go to 8-10 games a year and hang out with some friends while watching soccer. Can't really argue against that.
With the teams in different leagues, I don't really see it being much different from supporting teams in different sports or having a college and pro team. I just... do.

United>>>England>>>Leeds
I only support United but if Leeds/any other Yorkshire team are playing then I want
them to win as well.
Although I will get stick if I admit that I would be happy to forgoe another PL title if England can win the 2010 world cup and bring it back to the motherland.

You just need to see it less as supporting one team and more as supporting one religion. (Just think of it as one big team) Right Isra? ;)

Manchester are my Club that I love and feel the emotion in every game and have gone out of my way to seeing at every point possible, and even after we moved to Australia from Salford it never left me.
Sporting on the Other hand is from my Grandfather, we bonded over football, one of my youngest memories are with him and watching the Golden generation in the 1991 U20's World Cup and him praising Figo to the highest manner as the best player he'd seen Sporting produce, he loved his club to bits, and everytime i'd go over to visit them for the australian summer (Lisbon Winter) we'd always spend the weeks talking about Football and a match or two, when he passed away a few years ago, i felt a connection with the club perhaps not the Love that i feel for Manchester and the portuguese National team, but I still feel a link and watching them play reminds me of all the good memories that they helped create.

Your club chooses you and there's only room for one in your heart. You may be attracted to others, but only one is truly special.
It's like sex. You always want the three-way, but you don't want your wife to be part of it.

I feel the same way as your opening paragraph. Manchester Unietd will always be my first and my last. I will root for them to win over every single sports team in the world.
But What are the chances DC United and Manchester United play each other? Unless both teams win their Champions League and play in the semifinal or final of the WCC, or a friendly in which case I dont care.
DC United are my local team, and I need to watch live football.

When I met one of my friends a few years ago he was an Arsenal fan. and over time after hanging out with me he started to be a Manchester fan. His friends from England always send him a jersey each summer as a present so he asked for a United shirt (back int he vodafone days) last year, a year later, he got a Chelsea jersey. I went mad Im like what the ******** are you doing you cant do that, you cant have both in your closet etc etc.. let alone wear both.. (So he doesnt wear that one much now:p)
For me I used to play for a team called Arsenal, and we had their badge and everything on it. So now when I dont play there anymore I use the 2 jerseys to clean my boots:D

I played for an Arsenal when I was 7 - we actually did go undefeated in our U-8 park league. Good times that season - our coach also owned Celebration Station (pretty much a Chucky Cheese's on crack) so after every match, free tokens, pizza, and coke.
Ahhh, those were the days..

I was born near London but I have lived in the White rose county (the biggest county in Britain) for more than ten years. I support the Yorkshire cricket team and I am trying to learn the song 'On Ilkley Mooar baht 'at'-for translation that is 'on Ilkley moor without a hat'.
To be honest if we are not playing on a day then I listen to a Leeds game.
Don't get me wrong though as I do get a feeling of satisfaction when they lose..
