Those pill aren't vitamins. Any strange men with leather pants and letter 'Z' key chains been talking to you at the bar lately? ;)

At my local there are no men in leather pants -- not that there is anything wrong with that.

At my local there are no men in leather pants -- Don't they all wear vinyl in your local...?
Got that wrong didn't I, it's Shrek's local, with grannies wearing red vinyl.
That reminds me. Let me tell you about this baseball/hockey/basketball analogy I have been working on...Groan......Does this involve "Offsides." Telling me that "Hattrick" is really Hocky terminology. Or trying to convince me that baseball is more exciting than watching bowling, paint drying or grass growing.
At least bowlers are getting "some" exercise....

What?exactly!!!

I can not not.
I'll try not to misunderestimate you guys...
i sometimes have trouble with 'except' and 'expect'. i have no trouble with expectorate and exceptorate, tho'.

the grammar/rainbow hijack of the Middlesbrough ( and note that it's not spelled correctly in the thread title -- i've let that go until now  ) v. Liverpool {R} thread has been sublime.

Seriously...! The one (2 really) that drive me bonkers is (are) expatriate and expatriot.

Some dumb comm. during one of the US matches at the French World Cup claimed he had a friend from New York, living in Paris, who was an "Expatriot..!"

I'd think he was an Ex-friend after that.

We now return you to your regular .tv: Tonights show "The Tom Hicks Footballs Aint Round Table." Tonights topic: Fcuk off with the asking for money thing. Special Guest Rick Parry will demonstrate how to patch your suit knees so you can hardly tell. Stadium Design Firms give presentations than get fired and kill themselves at the Kop End. 18+. language, violence and some Fat Texan Drawling. Not suitable for children.

Tonights Footballs Aint Round is brought you by the campaign to Re-Re-Reelect George Bush since the first one he actually lost says here hes still eligible and wtf look at these other guys we cant have that for crissakes and besides hes my boy you know so thats it just do it.

Is he ever right about anything..?
i think he said once that if Kenny Dalglish and Kevin Keegan were both Welsh that Wales could have won the World Cup in 1978. the only reason that Argentina won is that they played in Argentina. so, i agree.

Well, we don't want to claim him, but he's a Mick who snuck into New York years ago -- got himself hired to do football, one can only presume, because the ass wipe executives at the network couldn't tell that his accent was Irish, not Scots or English, and that he didn't know jack shit about football. He's kept the job ever since because the Yank execs at BSPN still haven't discovered that he doesn't know jack shit about football.

WTF that what I said he's a Irishman. Gandalf has him confused with the real Tommy Smith who played for Liverpool.

Just scanned the entire thread - this is precisely the conversation Stig was hoping for. Mange Takk! Otherwise, could be another cluster at the Riverside.
