Players with New Caledonian or Tahitian heritage

Does anyone know if there are any players with New Caledonian, Tahitian or other French Polynesian heritage (either born there or have parents who were) that are playing in either the 1st or 2nd divisions in France or elsewhere in Europe?

Two i know of playing in France are Marama Vahira (Tahiti born) with Lorient and Frederic Piquionne (New Caledonian born) with Monaco.

in the past from tahiti there was pascal vahirua who i used to think was marama's dad, but he's his cousin. he played for auxerre and had 22 caps for france.

Don't forget Antoine Kombouaré, who was a tough, no-nonsense defenseman for Nantes and PSG, and who is now the very competent coach of Valenciennes (currently 6th in ligue 1). He is from New Caledonia, too.

Players like Kombouaré don't get the fame they desserve. Nothing fancy, but they get the job done. Always reliable.

Anyway... 1993, Valdo, Ginola, Weah, Bravo, Dutruel ("gardien de l'équipe de France espoirs :eek: ")

And the Real : Buyo, Butragueno ("el buitre"), Zamoreno, Luis Enrique, Prosinecki...

All of this sounds like yesterday to me. But, it was 15 years ago ! I'm getting old, friends. Really old. Guignol, do you have any room left in your "remembrance of things past" thread ? I feel like I need a place in some retirement home.
