I've seen this rumor on many other sites...it looks to be authentic.

Is it just me or do Hunt's comments make it sound like if Sunderland sweetens the pot, he's as good as gone?
“I don’t expect anyone to go.”
Hunt only signed a new contract last year, but his excellent form this season has improved his value and he is looking for an improved offer.
The Republic of Ireland winger said: “It’s a big week for myself and we’ll see what happens.
“Only time will tell. I have made my mind clear during the week.
“What was said will remain private.
“Who knows? I didn’t think I’d be at Reading a couple of years ago and I still am, but they know my situation and how I feel.
“It’s entirely up to the club. Sunderland are a big club, but I will give my best for Reading, that’s all I can do.”

Well Gunnarson's days as an automatic starter for cmid are numbered now, which is good. Look forward to seeing him feature in matches down the road.

Great news. From everything I have read, he is a very good Czech player. The only thing that worries me is that he played for a smaller team in the Czech league and hasn't really ventured out from the league until now. On the other side, he plays on the national team and I Coppell says he is a good fit. Overall I am very pleased and look forward to seeing him on the pitch.

I think it sounds like if Sunderland throws out a few more pounds, he's gone.
BTW: Pablo, did you get my message about Fire tickets next season? If you want to do something, let me know.

I agree.....this guy looks like a "box to box" midfielder and may allow Harper to go back to the DMC role that he excelled in when he was partnered with Sidwell.

This is exactly what we needed. Hopefully he will be able to come in right away and make an impact. If he can dictate the pace and develop pressure from the middle it should really help our chances this season. That being said we need to give him a little time to acclimate to his teammates and the EPL.

Any possibility of him making his debut against Aston Villa this weekend? I know Coppell said something on Reading World about it in an interview, but as I cannot get/can't really afford Reading World, I'm confined to the news stories on the sites. If he plays, I'm going to need to find some way to listen to the game for free since FSC isn't carrying this one and again, I don't have World.
P.S. Just felt I should introduce myself quickly being my first post here and all, I'm Nick, I'm from Philadelphia, and recently started following Reading this year. I can say I've quickly built a bit of a allegiance to them already, a very impressive and hard-working squad, if a little untrained at times. So that's about it. Go Royals!

Is it just me or do Hunt's comments make it sound like if Sunderland sweetens the pot, he's as good as gone?I think Hunt's concern is one of two things
1) He's seen himself being moved to the right to allow Convey to play, and would rather be starting on the left, and would want to be seen as the first choice left-sided player.
2) he's been tapped up by Sunderland offering double the money.

Looks like Matejovsky will not play against Villa on Saturday because he isn't match fit. The Czech league had its winter break,so he hasn't seen much action. He is also not eligible for the Spurs game in the FA cup replay. It looks like his first start will be against Fulham on the 22nd.
