What do Rovers Really in 2008!!

I question everything in this thread.

1) New Owners with bigger budget ?
2) Better quality substitutes ?
3) Another Finisher besides Roque?
4) Work as one unit on one page behind the scenes ( Coach and players ).
5) Can MGP & Bentley play together ?
6) Better Fan support other than big 4 match ?
7) What are we doing different now than at the start of the season ?
8) A new Coach ?
9) Better back field Besides Samba ? Sometimes even Samba is slow...
10) Better mid-field passing ?
11) Better Goalie ?
12) Honest assessment and expectation from fans ?

Well at least now we can concentrate on improving on our shite form over the past month and a half. We can't get much worse, to be honest.

what do i want in 2008 to carry on supporting rovers and renew my season ticket in march.

Crap yeah, it's nearly season ticket time again isn't it ... I'd better get saving some cash.

For the points we need to improve on I think most of them can be solved with looking at what we were doing at the start of the season. We've got a finisher in Benni when he can be bothered, we've had a good defence with the same players, we've got a good goalie until recently ... I think there's just some bad blood in the team at the moment and we need to get rid of some and get some fresh players in. Not many, but enough to break up the old cliques and stop some taking things for granted.

To be fair though, and I know I got knocked for saying this a bit at the time, we've not really played that well since September. Only our first handful of games were very good, the rest have looked shakey but we were scraping results until it fell apart.

Not sure about new owners though. We're punching well above our weight at the moment, well not recently but for the last couple of years so I'd personally rather carry on like we are than risk a new owner. Fair enough if he has the best interests of the club at heart, but very few will have. I'd especially not like to have a life long fan that lives in America now and courted the press as the returning local hero only to disappear ... whatever his name is. Unless of course he has a very good reason for vapourising.

We need a couple of new wingers as well, I'd say. Bentley's success will ultimately be to Rovers' detriment. He'll go in the summer, and maybe the Gam-meister General will follow suit.
