I heard that Arce s playing now for Santos Laguna. I thought he still played for Morelia, and was expecting him to play against America last thursday in the Interliga 2008 match, but than Jorge Ramos started saying that he has left and is now at Santos Laguna. I was let down a bit, he is a very good player.
Anyone has any more info regarding this matter, why did he leave Morelia.., and most importantly, I thought he was supposed to go play for Olympiakos, anyone has more info on that ?!

Your help very much appreciatted .
thanks to all

He left because the Manager said he had good enough players to play at his position.

He didn't go to Olympiakos because the manager of that team wasn't too happy with his performances at Copa Oro.
He really has been a great player for some of years though, nice to see him finally get more recognition.

Gold Cup ?!
Who cares about that, he played really well at the Copa AMerica, he was one of the best. He clearly is a quality playmaker, and also a very consistent performer. He is about 27 or 28 yrs old, so he will always perform and is at the prime of his career. Apparently Morelia, do not have a player good enough in his position, at least from what I saw on thursday against America, they were rrushing things too much, and usually shooting from outside.
I know that Olympiakos just signed Belluschi, and even though he is a very good player, Arce has more quality, maybe not the same work rate, but Arce has quality, and in a team that has a player like Djordgevic and Galletti adding Arce would be even better. I guess its Olympiakos' loss.

About him getting recognition its hard though, because he is a playmaker, and for a player who only has skill and vizion as his main attributes , and nothing physical (speed or strength) its hard to get recognition. Most of the people in the footballing world are stupid, and they dont recognize talent, or the fact that a player doesnt need to run like a horse to be good ! :D

I think he's a pretty good player too. Most people here in BSM under rate him though.

A great player, and going to a team where he can really shine. With Arce, Ludueña, Benitez, and Vuoso, Santos looks to repeat its success from A07. It will be a very good sign if his play is elevated by talent around him.
