Yes, because the USA are not that great, they're just overhyped by their fans, they've reached one Quarter final in 50 years and yet all their fans thought they would win the last World Cup. Crouchie would definately get in their side, also maybe Rooney.

I would put USA in Euro qualification zone (for WC, hell even for EC). I'd bet my house they would never see any major tournament. Gold cup is not major tournament.

Phil Neville and Stewart Downing would be starters for USA.

Top to bottom, the last HEX (CONCACAF 2006 WC qualifying group) was as good as some of the Euro 2008 qualifying groups.

Titus Bramble could probably make the USA team.

Did 3 1/2 teams qualify from EC '08 groups as is the case with the "hex"?

p.s. love how so many Team USA fans now claim to support Fulham. Will that support survive their relegation and/or their Yanks moving away?

I find it funny how McBride's inability to score and Bocanegra's suicidal defence are one of the causes of their problems

Be interesting to see if Fulham get relegated. They would have to jump on a Premier League bandwagon. I reckon Reading..

NO. I watch Fulham for the Americans as I suppose 95 percent of the other Americans do.

PS Is this abnormal enough for a smug comment?

PS PS I don't think Fulham will be relegated

PS PS PS I think only that guy Bekhum could start for the Nats.

PS PS PS PS Cheers

Sorry so Sloppy.

I doubt Ferdinand, Campbell, J.T., Carragher, King, Adams, Southgate, or Woodgate could crack through ahead of Pope though..

Well, at least you don't claim to support Fulham as many of the spazzos now do. I agree with you on just Beckham though. After all, with players like "The stare" Gooch and "Let's turn my back on this shot" Bocanegra playing defence, how would Ferdinand and Terry get a look in?

Gooch was a star at Toon. Don't know how that let him get away..

Exactly.

When was the last time a Brit tore up the Bundesliga like Mathis did?

Relevance?

Question: Where does the USMNT typically finish in the HEX?

a) 5th or 6th
b) playoff spot
c) 3rd
d) top 2. Therefore I have no point.
e) I don't know. England is everything, I know nothing else.

Your answer?

They were fools. A pairing of Bramble and Gooch was a match made in heaven. Pure quality.
