Wooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooo

Just got off the phone with Mrs. Gholar (she, as I've stated before, is a very nice lady). I cut to the chase (as it's the dinner hour out here) and found out the following

1. The Knights will definitely be in business in 2008:D

2. There will be a new merchandising section (Tshirts, etc). We already knew this, but just as a reminder;)

3. Camp is opening soon: see HERE (http://www.sactoknights.com/)

The Knights are back. wooooooooooooohooooooooooooo

EDIT: BTW, are the newspapers in the Sac area covering the Knights at all? If so, which one(s)? Thanks

Mods/admin,

Please give this forum a chance. I know that it's really slow right now...:(

That's great that they are confirmed back in. I had heard they were, but was very skeptical as they didn't make the AGM (which was in Sacramento).

To be honest I think this forum has had just as many posts in it as the USL forum has, plus no one has said the NPSL forum has moved on the USL forum. I know everyone is busy.

Knights are confirmed back for next season, Jorge Fernandez will be retained as coach, he finished last season only losing one game. Not sure if the location for games will Cosumnes River College again, but that looks like the likely facility. Have not heard much else in terms of the other teams in the conference.

The NW gave us that crazy schedule to read. I went through and put all the teams into the composite schedule what a pain in the ass to read that schedule and decifer it.

They may have had a schedule change as that was posted April 3rd on SJ's site and not let the league know

Could this be due to the fact that Sac announcd their season so late?

Any familiar faces, amico mio?

Matt Scammacca, Eliseo Lopez and Victor Lopez, I think that was all for the regulars. No Chimienti, no Frazelle, no Nelle, no Harris, tying a Community College does not bode well for the upcoming season.
