Sort of lost in this mess of the PK controversy in last night's game is the fact that Meola set a record last night: he's the only GK in MLS hstory who has stopped two PK's in one game.
Congratulations Tony!

God, I looked at the Star today, and one of the headlines on the front page of the sports section was that he set the record with two PK's and I was like "HE DID WHAT!?!?!" That's simply unbelievable, and I really wished I had been able to see it, but I was out of town. :(
Congrats Tony.

Don't feel too bad, Lucid. None of us saw it either. No tube on this one.

Tony is also the new leader in GAA in MLS. (Although he missed a few games and Cannon has played a lot more than Tony)

I saw it. Kopite saw it. Nothus saw it. I'm not sure if anyone else did, though.
After six years of misery on the road for me (I've never seen an away game win, and the losses get more bizarre and painful all the time), the 88th minute PK was about all I could take. Then Tony saved it. I'm still a bit numb.
