I'll say 4-0 Spurs.
Sounds like Reading is going to sit a lot of their first teamers.

finally my first match at the lane!! every time i come to visit family its always in the summertime. first time since i was very young that im in england in season.
seems like they wont be fielding a full stength team. we might not either after such a grueling stretch. id imagine we will see ledley back in action after he was rested/because kaboul picked up a knock.
i feel a 3-1 tottenham victory. i cant imagine us keeping another clean sheet quite yet unfotunately.
cant wait to sing until i have no more voice COME ON YOUUUU SPUUUURS

unless i'm blind we won't be on tv which is crap. FSC is showing pompey and ipswitch Like i care bout those two club hahah. ANYWAY, I hope what Poyet said about enough is enough freaking tells our team to stop F'in around, man up and mark some body dammit on set pieces. I think we put both Dawson and King back there with chimbo and zorkora at right and left back we should be ok on defense. I believe and predict we win 4-2.

God I hope we sit Dawson. He is utter trash and I hope that we sell him this transfer period.

While his current form isn't the greatest, it's not like our alternatives are great. Kaboul still has alot to learn, and Gardner sucks.

Gardner sucks.
And he's still injured. Dawson & King is still Spurs' best central defensive pairing.

What? Which portion of Zokora's failed experiment as RB made you think he would be successful at LB? I mean, Lee isn't world class, but LB is his actual position, and he's at least decent at it.

Kinda strange that they aren't going to start there best to play us. I understand partially why they would rest people but I mean Reading have a decent shot to beat us if they start there best lineup and to not try to progress in domestic cups does show a huge lack of ambition.

I was wondering Double if you knew when Gardener's contract expires? I would love for him to be dealt cause he just isn't spurs material.

He's the second longest serving player on the squad. He's been here since 2000. That's pretty much spurs material.;)
Here's the deal with Big Tony. It is well known that he can't pass a medical, which is odd considering that he occasionally plays. But being fit enough to play is different that being fit enough to pass a medical (think it's the knees). We have tried to sell him before and this has happened. So get used to him. He ain't going nowhere.

I don't think Zokora necessarily "failed" as a right back. He may not have been great, but I don't recall him playing particularly poorly when he was back there. The whole team sucked in the first half against Villa, so no one looked good.
He'll play this game, without a doubt given he'll be going to the ANC soon, but it'll probably be in midfield. I think he starts there with Boateng or O'Hara, in order to give some of the others some time off.
Speaking of players needing a breather, Chimbonda could really use a spell out. I think Stalteri would service well against a depleted Reading, so I'd expect to see him out there. This might be a good game to get Rocha back in the first team, as well.

He wasn't the worst player out there by any means, but I don't understand why anyone would suggest playing him out of position like that again. He can fill in at CB just fine, but he's not a wing man. He'll play against Reading, and I would imagine that it will be in CM where he belongs, likely alongside KPB.
Playing Stalteri for Chimbonda in this one seems reasonable enough. He's been competent against stronger opposition, and Chimbonda will obviously be more of a need in the upcoming matches.
Rocha......I have a suspicion that he'll be moved out of the squad, so I don't expect him to be brought back in at any time.

I know this will probably never happen but what if Ramos rejuvenated the man. I know that is very unlikely with his bad knees but I mean he is big, strong and all he needs is a brain to go along with those physical attributes.

sell him?! come on now. hes had a tough season but we all know the ability is there...he was fantastic last season when paired with ledley. ledley has been out all term until just recently. plus, people forget how young daws is.
dont get me wrong, his play has been really crap a lot of times this season. but im not ready to give up on him yet ( i dont think im the only one either )
