Yes, that Hayles for Leicester is Barry Hayles. At QPR, Holloway had Furlong. As Plymouth, and now Leicester, he has Barry Hayles. As we did with Mahon, the Foxes brought him in for one game as an "emergency loan" and he'll sign an 18-month contract with Leicester when the window opens, leaving Plymouth for an undisclosed fee.

Earlier today, Cardiff beat Plymouth, 1-0. Also earlier, Fulham lost at home to Chelsea, 1-2.

Steve Howard, who came on for Leicester, is a new signing from Derby. Like Hayles and Mahon, he's in today on an 'emergency loan' ahead of a transfer in the January window and a new 3 1/2 year deal for Howard. That's a long deal for a 31-year-old striker.
