In all honesty, we should have a gerrard hate thread

No need for that. We are not obsessed with Liverpool and its players.
In any case, under Hicks/Gillette they have become an even bigger joke and provide enough opportunities to have fun at their expense.

Yup. I was quoting him and agreeing with you. :)

"Now repeat after me, bitch.

I come in the name of jesus by the power of the holy spirit. Ruler of heaven, earth, and every god-damn thing in between. You understand me now?"

Nothing like a crackhead singing Amazing grace to ring in the new year.

Anyways, onto other team news. Read rumors today saying Figo's leaving Inter to join an MLS team, potentially the Fire. I thought he'd stick this season out at Inter - the way he messed with our defenders (though it was a preseason match) was impressive, he still has it. Would be interesting though, especially since the Zidane rumors haven't cooled either. Looks like all of Real's old Galacticos could be here soon..

It would be better for Figo to leave in this transfer window so he will be ready for the start of the MLS season. Also a lot of players want to live in the states. Wer kinda used to it so its not that tempting, but it would be like an American moving to Milan or Madrid (not the teams, for the temptation of the lifestyle)

There's a transfer rumor like that every few weeks for MLS. Just like the ones for Veron to DC United not long ago. I generally don't put much stock into them until more credible sites report something.

And besides, John O'Legend > Figo.

speaking of setanta surely im not the only one that saw the episodes of jose to get the thread title? isra maybe you?

Dimitar Berbatov wants to quit Tottenham if a club "which matches his ambition" makes a suitable offer says the Bulgarian star's agent

"Fans must understand Dimitar is 27 next month and time is running out for him to play for a club which can match his ambition.

"It is a long-term plan for Spurs. Dimitar wants to fulfil his potential and win trophies now. He would definitely consider a move outside of England, that is not the issue. What matters is a club which matches his ambition and his level, and therefore there are only five or six around Europe.

"Two clubs outside of England and one from the Premier League are interested in him."
