Who is this player?

i was thinking about neil mellor, and he reminded me of a spurs player..

here is what i know/remember...

- he scored 2 goals on his debut (i know one of the goals was at least out of the penalty area) , it was on either boxing day or new years day. i'm pretty certain it was new years..

- he had a number higher than 25

- he never really broke into the first team after that.. he is in the championship now i think.

What ever happened to Marney, and other players from that time like Rohan Ricketts? I know they would never make it in the current team, but I do wonder where they went.

i believe we sold marney to norwich city last year. ricketts? hmmm? i believe i'll just google that.

edit: that's right. it was hull city. maybe we'd just loaned him to norwich?

ricketts is currently at barnsley, by the way. we sold him to wolves, who moved him on to the tykes.
