Membership information has now been updated on the Casbah website. For officially joining the Casbah you will received the Casbah scarf, membership card, newsletter, discounts at the Brit (TBD), and possibly shuttle rides to the games from downtown SJ. (The shuttle rides are still being worked out.) Membership dues are $25/person which will go towards paying for the scarf you will receive, streamers, banners, flags, and other Casbah activities. If your interested check out our website (http://www.thecasbah.org). You should also check out our myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/sjcasbah).

Thanks for the excellent update to the site. I still shy away from MySpace as I am afraid of some random STD infecting me through my computer. When do you plan to have the membership page setup so that we can pay online?

So far so good.
Following up on methodic, if and when you start taking membership, need to put up an online link--usually PayPal. Otherwise, there's a lot of updating that has been done in recent weeks, compared to the lull two years ago. Hopefully, the site v2.0 won't be "always under construction".

Excuse me?! Did you just call me a "Filthy GM?" Really?!
I am neither filthy nor a GM. I sure as heck don't speak to English Soccer Stars, nor any Brits for that matter. (Well, there may be one or two Brits lurking on this forum.) What are you getting at BDG?! Is this in reference to someone else?! I certainly hope so.

I believe that would be correct.
(Less caffeine in the new year would be good - sounded like JMicheals in newspaper rage mode again)

Thanks. :D
After posting my reply, I thought that perhaps that was what you meant. Still, I was confused. I think I need more whiskey and less caffeine. :D

Just don't combine 'em like the kids in trendy, cheesy clubs do these days (what a fabulous way to violently wretch on your date:eek:). Disgusting!

Hey all you Casbah!
We're working on getting the membership/paypal account set up on our website. I'm sorry I've been out of town for two weeks, so the process kinda got stalled. Hopefully it will be operational by next week Sunday. The scarfs are being shipped and will be available for the season openner. (Sorry they probably won't get here in time for the exhibition games.) I've updated the photo on the website (http://www.thecasbah.org) so you can get an idea of what the actual scarfs look like.
How many of you are going to the games at PAL and Kezar? How many of you out there still have your old drums and want to bring them? It be good to get an idea of how many old drummers are out there that want to participate again.

The scarfs look great! I'll be going to both PAL and Kezar games but I only got a small bongo drum. Will that do? :D
