What are your favorite latin love songs or artist who dedicate themselves to the romantics?
i have too many to choose from. As a kid, my dad away at work and my mom would have the music on with us and sing. Everything from Jose Jose to Jose Luis Perales to Roberto Carlos to Juan Gabriel to Leandro to Miguel Gallardo to Dyango to Palito Ortega to Emmanuel.

Hey, I've got my sensitive side :)
I like the oldies.
Break up song - Muneca de Ojos de Miel (Los Mier)
Favorite Love song - Motivos (Jose Augusto)
Also like Napoleon, Miguel Gallardo, Camilo Sesto, etc.
As far as the new stuff, I admit I like Mana, Oreja de Van Gogh. I used to sing "Cachito" to my ex-girlfriend. Awesome song from Mana. Prettiest gitar riffs you've ever heard.
Great idea for a thread!
Here's a thought...
Maybe we can take it one step further and start a MEXICO-NSR forum within the Mexico forum for easy access for those of us (spanish speakers) with like interests.

Pimpinela, Camilo Sesto... your music taste leave a lot to be desired.
But at least nobody has mentioned that crap band Elefante.
The best love song by the best band in the planet is Las Flores by Cafe Tacuba.

Yes because Cafe Tacuba is just like Backstreet boys and La Academia. (sarcasm)
Actually La Academia is the worst thing to hit Mexico since Hernan Cortes.

Me Duele El Corazón
Julio Jaramillo
Solito he de sufrir, solito he de llorar,
Solito he de sufrir, solito he de llorar,
Solito he de sufrir, solito he de llorar,
Solito he de sufrir, solito he de llorar,
Solito yo me tengo que acabar.

Juan Luis Guerra  :)
"Tengo un corazón
Mutilado de esperanza y de razón
Tengo un corazón que madruga donde quiera
¡ay ay ay ay ay!
Este corazón
se desnuda de impaciencia
Ante tu voz,
Pobre corazón
Que no atrapa su cordura"
