He is tenacious, plays with fire and heart. Best of all he really gets stuck in with the tackle. Lets start this guy more often, I think he can be a Spurs legend.

I agree. I'm trying to think of a recent Spur that had so much fight in his game. Tarrico maybe, Mendez maybe?? Actually, Michael Brown, while crap in many respects, really did like to get stuck in.

he'll have to get a lot more minutes before he can be compared to the likes of tano for fight. it's one thing to be flying about and committed in the tackle when you've only gotten a few minutes and are trying hard to impress.

it's quite another story when you're stuck in the middle of the table in april with neither europe nor relegation in sight, an automatic selection, and down two-nil to man u in the 75th minute. then how do you approach a 50/50 ball?

Or when he complains when Spurs aren't playing him enough, which will probably happen if he doesn't keep playing.

We didn't hear a peep from him earlier in the season when he wasn't playing. In fact, he was on the record as saying he understands he needs to fight for his place and is happy to do so.

In any case, I don't think he'll have to worry about not playing - he's quality and Ramos obviously likes him. He'll get his time.

To be honest, i always thought that he had a point when he complained at Hertha.

The team was average and not very succesful and he was probably their/your ;) most talented player and surely one of the best midfielders at the club.

I think that Götz and infamous Dieter fu**ed it up with the young players.

I mean the list of talented players who didn't really make it at Hertha and who left is quite long...Dejagah, Schorch, KP Boateng, Jerome Boateng only to name a few...

KPB's Attitude is much better than a lot Herthafans think in my opinion.(A lot of them are only bitter anyway, no offence to you)

Has anyone really seen enough of Boateng to form a real opinion? I was at the fulham game, he came on, couple of nice touches, kicked out at someone, game ended. He did want the ball which was good to see.

But Taarabt is the star of the future!

yea, but i really hope he gets the chances he needs before some one else takes him away because he's unhappy with his chnaces.

There's no doubt that G*tz and H*eness had something to do with it, but after he left the club, Boateng made a not so sly dig at the club which just smacked of sour grapes, so I hope for nothing but the worst for him, which just adds to my hatred of Spurs (no personal offense :))

So you show yourself to be a Gooner. No offense.

Well, Boateng may or may not be excellent, but Taarabt is definitely exciting. i don't understand why he isn't getting more time. Maybe it's because he's the C. Ronaldo of yesteryear? As in, he looks tricky but doesn't have the ability to finish with a good cross or a shot on target.

Well Boateng was utter pants against Villa. Some truly awful passes.

You still love him?

Agree with Mort. I have liked his play in the past, but against Villa he didn't have it together. Kept giving the ball away.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He just had a bad game.

everyone was awful in that villa game...cut the prince some slack...we were getting dogged all day...

quick question though...why does he feel the need to switch up his hairstyle every game? haha...he had that awful moptop with the blonde stripe to shorter hair to stubbles with racing stripes..thats a man with fashion sense!

What was really scary is that he has obviously inspired Defoe.
