Me neither. Assuming we play like we did yesterday. But since we'll face on of the third-placed teams, it looks good.
I'll get up early tomorrow to watch it live.

Brann would be my preferred opponent of the 3rd finished teams.

Group third-placed teams

A) FC Zenit St. Petersburg: I've seen a bit of them, their playmaker and Russia's captain, Arshavin, and their captain Tymoschuk, are quality players but their defense is questionable. I say with our strong defense and our capable attack there is no reason we should not be able to get through if we draw Zenit.

B) Aberdeen FC: Haven't seen them to be honest but they put on quite a show today.

C) AEK Athens FC: They've got a certain Rivaldo who could....ahem...dive his way to numerous free kicks and penalties so this could be tricky. They are also doing really well domestically and are leading their league.

D) SK Brann: The only other side I'm really familiar with from Norway. They barely got through their group so I consider them the weakest team in this draw. I'm sure we would cruise past them....

E) FC Zürich: Would be very interesting to see how Chikkaoui would play against us. Several clubs are interested in him and scoring against Bayern would be a great statement for a player looking to make his mark in European football. But if Leverkusen can put 5 past them we can as well.

F) Bolton Wanderers FC: Can we play them again, being that they were in our group and all? They've kinda regained their mojo in the EPL, I'll pass..for now..

G) RSC Anderlecht: Saw their game against Spurs, very weak team that plays just like us when we have an off day. Barely got through their group.

H) Galatasaray AS: Although playing in Turkey is always tough Galatasaray are having some difficultites this season in Europe, even though they are doing well domestically. They have quite a few familiar faces, Sukur and Sas, Nonda, Song and our old friend Lincoln. He would get a marvelous reception I imagine. :D

Well of course, that was assuming we have our shyte together. Because if we don't we can crash out against just about anybody.

Excellent.

Here's a summary (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11103883&postcount=17) of the 1983 games between Aberdeen and Bayern

Scottish teams always play with a lot of heart. But if the Bayern team turn up in mind as much as in body then I would hope for a convincing score line. I don't think this will be a goal fest, what is really required is a composed display from seasoned professionals.
