Palacios? Young Colombian in Gremio

Rumours in Brazil have pointed towards a Brazilian interest, Gremio, in a young attacker nicknamed Palacios. The brazilians say he is Colombian and that they are interested in perhaps signing him. Who is this?

Na noite desta quarta-feira, os juniores do Grêmio venceram mais uma no Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20. O time gremista bateu o Corinthians, por 2 a 0, no complexo desportivo da PUC. Os gols foram marcados por Wellington e Jhonatan, ainda no primeiro tempo.

O jogo foi tranqüilo para a equipe de Julinho Camargo. A equipe tricolor teve a maior posse de bola durante os 90 minutos e foi superior aos paulistas. O primeiro gol saiu aos 36min, quando Wellington aproveitou o rebote da zaga corintiana e chutou de fora da área, sem chances para o goleiro. E logo em seguida, aos 42, Jhonatan foi derrubado na área. Pênalti que ele mesmo cobrou e ampliou o placar. Na segunda etapa os garotos gremistas só administraram o resultado e garantiram sua segunda vitória na competição.

Com a vitória o time gremista se isolou na ponta da tabela no Grupo 2. O próximo jogo gremista acontece na próxima sexta-feira contra o Paraná, às 17h30min, novamente no complexo da PUC.

O Grêmio jogou com: Túlio, Felipe, Wagner, Gabriel (Julio Cesar), Heverton, Rafael Carioca, Helder, Wellington, Itaqui (Dhiego), Palacios (Rafael Martins), Jhonatan (Isael).

if he is being considered for the Gremio 1st team he has to be better than some of the scrubs on the last sub-20 team..at least test him out....

guys not to be a party pooper but I have been putting this kid in teh colombians abroad list for the past 3 seasons...... :D

tho i didnt know he was a striker, which yes efer makes me very very happy

think gremio has 2 sub 20 colombians and inter has 3 (that awful CB who use to start on our NT when Cordoba couldnt.... played in mexico and is garbage) and 2 sub 20s

and yea LAra needs to be fing fired, bring IN ALEXI or BErnal

Regardless, they are fighting for the promotion to 2nd divison and 2nd division in Brazil beats 2nd division in Colombia.

It depends on which Paulista your talking about. Paulista futebol clube is in serie c. Corinthians, is sometimes called corinthians paulista, that may be where the confusion is.

No I am referring to Paulisa Futebol Club, I know for a fact they won the brazilian cup in 2005, they beat Fluminense.
