Italian supporters ( ultras ) have always used great banners to send their opinions to the clubs and to the other fans . I think that the Borough Boys could go to the games of the Mets and to expose an enormous withe banner ( 30 meters x 1 meter for example ) and to write in black this phrase :
MR WILPON GIVE US A DREAM : NYCFC IN MLS 2010
This is only a little advice, of course.
Thank you Kubah , Laveglia and all the Borough Boys !! Only objective : 2010 !!

Hey Napoli, thanks for the suggestion. We are def going to try to bring a banner to the Mets game.Over the bleachers would be nice. I dont know what their policy is but maybe we can *cough*(smuggle)*cough* it in :D.

Unless the Mets make an exception for us, I can tell you that they do not allow banners/posters in the picnic area ( it could be distracting to the batter ). Ive sat in the picnic area and have seen security cut down a poster and confiscate it.

Good point, they dont want to mess up the batter eye. I dont want Mr. Reyes losing a 3-2 fastball in the banner and striking out, maybe we will only put it up when the opposing team is up lol.

Well if you want to get some thing going as far as banners at shea then you can seek some one from the mets that is actually important to come to an agreement and say open the banner between innings..... have that met person organize with security and all that....
just a thought

I have an idea. Aside from all this I think that we need to market our forum within Big Soccer. Bringing more people to these forums will also help bring the word out.

Sneaking one long banner of that size into the stadium might be difficult to pull off. If you broke it up into several smaller banners and put it back together when it's hung up, it might make things easier.
