The Carling Cup semi draw is tonight after the Chelsea-Liverpool match. Who would you want to draw?

I would prefer to avoid Everton as they are shit-hot

If we are to get Arsenal, I would prefer it to be the final.

So my vote is Chelsea. By the time we play them, they will be without Terry and Carvalho as well as three of their best to the ACN.

l'Arse. Every game is an opportunity to finally beat them, especially if Wenger keeps to his young players. I don't remember exactly but last year he had to put many first-teamers on the field to beat us.

A Spurs-Everton final would be good for football.

Aren't we shit hot too? :)

I'll agree I voted for Chelsea because this is prob the best time to take them on with their injuries on both ends.

I'd be happy with Everton, they are doing well but will lose a few key players including Yakubu to the ANC. They also usually get beaten by us in the 2nd half of the season and our form under Ramos is impressive.

Chelski would be ok given that they will be missing players as well, but I'd still prefer the Gooners to them. Should have beaten them last year but Berbs got injured when we were 2-0 and toying with them and the tactics and fitness afterwards were poor. Can't see Ramos making the same mistakes, we look a lot stronger in those departments.

Liverpool are possibly the one to avoid, they should be able to name a strong team.

The passionate fan in me screams for another shot at destroying l'Arse, But my brain says Chelski. They will be way short handed, and it would be like kicking a man that's down.

it's the arse.

first leg at the emirates, second leg at the lane.

it has always seemed to me a bit contrived for americans to go on about how much they 'hate' some english football clubs. but i have to say, i really do hate them.

i know many decent gooners, and all, and i don't mean to go over the top with it; but i am just so ********ing sick of them. they shall be well-and-truly stuffed this time. i'll ********ing say it 'til it happens, dammit.

You say this like you are a special case. We needed luck against AAB Alborg. Are you saying that the mighty Gunners from South London are no better than Denmark's #3? How the mighty have fallen.

That's because so many of the ones on here are complete cockends.

Most of them think that football began in 1998, and love to listen to stories about how someone once saw a disabled orphan brutally murdered by a gang of Spurs fans, telling those gullible enough to listen "They are scum Spurs fans, scum".

The ones on here also think it's a badge of honour to hate us, despite having only supported the club for 5 minutes and also "supporting" Barcelona, Milan, Lyon, Rangers, Porto, Bayern Munich ... etc.

They also love to state how they supported Arsenal, because they couldn't stand United, so they thought they'd go for a less commercial team.

Most gooners in real life are actually alright.

And all the Spurs fans on here have been supporting them since the Glory Year I suppose ?

Should be a good game though, and another test for our Kids, just hope they can get out of school early enough.

The relevance of that being?

Sadly most of your fans think they aren't band wagonners because you only finished second the season they jumped on board.

The relevance being that you make it sound as though all the spurs fans on here are the football oracle, the only difference between our Glory hunters and yours is that ours found some.

Where did I say that? I was talking about your fans, not ours.

Most of your fans would have buggered off if you had had a spell like we have endured.

What you said was...

' Most of them think that football began in 1998, and love to listen to stories about how someone once saw a disabled orphan brutally murdered by a gang of Spurs fans, telling those gullible enough to listen "They are scum Spurs fans, scum".'

Which suggests that you feel all your fans have been around since you won the league in black & white.

As for the "all your fans would have buggered off" jibe thats rubbish, we've had hard times it's just that they were along time ago, and not as many as you've had.

I can understand you bitterness, you aspire to be a big club, you made that clear when you set out to finish fourth at the start of the season.

That is your own (wrong) interpretation.

What hard times have most of your fans had on here? Finishing 4th? Oh boo hoo, it must have taken some real passion to keep supporting after that disaster.

I can understand you bitterness, you aspire to be a big club, you made that clear when you set out to finish fourth at the start of the season.

I'm not bitter. I simply dislike Arsenal, and consider most of their fans on here to be cretinous bandwaggoners.
