I know that this is supposed to be a temporary thing while Dawson is out with his migraine problems, but I think you'd have to say it's been an unbelievable success. Zokora gives them the speed and experience they've been missing in central D, and with Kaboul there they still have enough size to take care of long balls into the box.

I think Ramos would be very wise to keep him there.

he has done quite well hasnt he? his speed over 5-10 yards has always been good and thats shown in his recovery time when he gets beaten. also he has the pace to surge ahead a few yards with the ball before feeding it to our midfield.

that being said, i have been pleased with him but personally im not sure he would be a good long term option. kaboul certainly seems more comfortable playing with zokora. lets just hope ledley and rocha are back soon that way we wont have any more injury crisis in the center of our defense.

also- what a rubbish sending off today. if anyone should have been sent off it should have been steed. his tackle was much more malicious than zokora's. i thought immediately that he was going to see red too...you can imagine mine and every spurs fans relief when he only got shown a yellow.

Well he's done a good job (stupid tackle aside) but to be fair, by the time he returns King will be starting and we should be in for another central defender. And Dawson has long been a solid defender with King and Kaboul seems settled with another more experienced player beside him. So no - I'd rather have real center halves than Tianio/Zoko :) Buit if King is injured again, I think there is real value to your argument. Perhaps he should be dropped deep in that scenario as Dawson and Kaboul don't play well as a pairing.

I do think he would actually make a great Right Back.

I don't actually think he even touched the player, but it was a bad-looking way to go into a tackle, so since it wasn't even really a foul, it's either red or nothing. Yellow wouldn't do for that sort of offense. But it was a little harsh because he didn't touch him. It could have been a warning. How about Crouch's tackle today??? That was a lot nastier.

I think Zoks played some Right Back for Genk in Belgium.
