I was watching SkySports awhile ago and i heard that Sir Alex is looking to buy Berbatov, the news said he was offering Saha and Brown as well as like 6 million (not sure what the number is).
Is what I've heard true? Personally i wouldn't go for it.

The two tits on Fox Football Fone-In mentioned, I've also heard talk of a deal involving Nani and Berbs--that's from the Daily Mail, I think...
But Brown and Saha? That's a horrifying thought: the two of them together, in Spurs kits...[shudders]

No thanks. Two sicknotes that I personally feel won't do much to strenghten the squad overall.
BTW - greatblue...what's your beef against Fox Football Fone-in? I personally really like the show. It's much, much better now that Nick Webster's on there instead of that buffoon, Geber.

An offer like that would be laughed at.

Steven Cohen really pisses me off, especially because he has a habit of shit talking Spurs--and he's so cocky, but more on the radio; Nick I don't mind so much. Actually, I watch it fairly often so I suppose I don't have anything in particular against it--aside from the above stated malice towards Steven...
Maybe if we turn of all the lights and lock the doors at the Lane, and everyone hides and keeps quiet, Saha and Brown will think that no one is there and go away...:)

Saha is continually injured, but good when fit.
Wes Brown is versatile but poor in every position. He's also out of contract next summer so would be free.
So the total offer is worth about £6m. No way.

Couple of things
1) Cohen is a shock jock. Take everything he says with that in mind
2) His dad is the real deal in Spurs supporters so Cohen is typically respectful towards the club. I'm not saying he's not a dick, just that if you hear him as being disrespectful towards us, then you are being a conspiracy theorist Liverpudlian. His partner Howard seems to hate us for some odd reason.
3) Original Poster: The teams you support - Hotspur? Who is that? We are Spurs or Tottenham Hotspur. Never Hotspur. I don't say this to be mean. It's a common error by American's due to name structures in sports here. But you will get stick if you don't change that.
4) This rumor came from the Mail. It's as worthless as a comb in my back pocket. It's even less imaginative than Nani for Berbatov
Brown can be signed on a pre in a fortnight. His valuation isn't even a million pounds due to that.
We have a Saha. His name is Defoe and he's not injured more often than Michael Owen
How many trades has any of us ever seen? If you see a player swap mentioned in a rag, you know right away that it is made up. Because in my 10 years of following the sport, I can count the number of player swaps on one hand. And that's including the Torres-Garcia business. If Berbatov is ever sold by Spurs, it will be for cash. Lots and Lots of cash.
Funny, how Berbatov finds his form finally under Juande and these pesky rumors by the dregs of the British press start again. Three weeks ago, nobody wanted Berbatov because he was petulant.
He is going nowhere. NOWHERE.

this just seems like a bad deal for everyone involved. i'm not fully opposed to the idea of berbatov leaving, don't get me wrong i wouldn't be happy about it, but i would hope they could get more than an injured player, a generic defender, and a handful of cash.

:D
Some may not know that cd is, er, follically challenged.
I wouldn't say no to some defensive cover, but as others have said Brown has no transfer value to ManU.
Howard from WSD undeniably has it in for us, and he's sweet on Berba. But you can't make it happen just by wishing for it.

Go ahead, Sir Alex, but only if you do not mind being taunted in Spanish.

Why the hell do we want to give up our one of our best strikers for a overrated defender who to me is Average at best and a injury prone striker.. I'll pass!

I am have only just started to watch FFF-I, and rarely listen to the radio show; so perhaps I was confusing Cohen for Howard. I just think Cohen is a tit, I'm not out looking for him with a cricket bat...at least not yet.;)
The Mail is unreliable on every level; I always mention this when I post stuff from them on my blog--I need to see something the Mail says sourced at least one other place that has a moderately reliable reputation (I know I know, good luck in England!:D), to take it seriously. I do enjoy the wild transfer speculation though: "Pele to Come out of Retirement and Play for Spurs!"
Ossie was just on Sky saying that Zorks was unjustly sent of!

No need to think. An independent scientific study has confirmed this already :D

Uh no. I actually meant to say "faux pais," meaning "fake country" in Franish (French and Spanish). Okay never mind, I just suck at spelling stuff.
