I still continue to have these continuous nightmares of a dancing peanut or banana. However, I think after last nights horrible dream that the figure is actually a plantain.

OK, not only does the song keep mentioning a baseball bat--it also mentions tic-tac-toe. I have to admit, I am oddly intrigued by it all, so since it's after 2 a.m., I did a bit of research on the net. Here's my favorite thing I found: http://etrata.home.attbi.com/flash/pepperbanana.swf

Greenie, you have way too much time if you can hunt up stuff like that. Who knows, if we had quality entertainment like that, maybe the Rapids would play at half time, and the rest of the time we would watch videos.

Now they have a stupid little kid scampering around on the Jumbotron screens with a Rapids jersey. The worst of it was after it was done, an old-ish lady nearby said, "That was neat."

I was sitting in section 127 and there were alot of kids around where i was sitting, none of them got into the PB&J dance or even paid attention to it, the PB&J dance is too stupid even for the kids its aimed for to get into.
also there was a group of kids towards the top of 127 that kept a Go Rapids chant longer then i ever heard that Ratz keep it going, i thought that was pretty cool.

I was confused as to who the immature fans were the other night. I sit only a few sections away, and was amazed by the reaction to the PB&J song. I don't know what threat you grown men and women feel by a little boy dancing around on the screen, trying to keep the fans entertained. But, by flipping off the screen, and chanting out the f-bomb, I was embarrassed for the rest of the soccer community, as well as the players you are "there to see." It really makes me wonder what you consider a "true" soccer fan.

Real fans actually care about soccer, and neither need nor want to be entertained by stupid Chuck E. Cheese gimmicks. Real fans go for the soccer, not a circus wannabe act. These gimmicks are an embarrassment to the Rapids organization and to the sport.
If you want to see these stupid gimmicks and need them for entertainment, then please do as a favor and buy the tickets, but no show and go to Elitch or somewhere else. If you rely on that PB&J dance and whatever to be entertained, then maybe you shouldn't be at the stadium.
