Anyone else going to the Philly match versus Barcelona and want to get the whole stadium chanting against ronaldinho?

I like Motterman's "Could have signed for a big Club!"

Also anyone else live in DC and watch games? I have gone to the cap lounge a bunch the passed 2 years, but am looking for a place with more atmosphere.

Try Lucky Bar. We sing all the time there. I'm there for virtually all the games and it's a good time. I'm going to be at the New York and Philly games though, but hopefully I will be for any of the other friendlies if they are on, and of course the Community Shield, etc.

i read somewhere that the toothy one doesn't understand english so chanting something in spanish probably would be better...

Just be sure it's the kind of Spanish they speak in Brazil. ;)

Actually, they speak Portugese in Brazil.

I'm also in the DC area for school. Where's the place to go to watch the games, and how much is it to get in?

I think Portuguese speakers have little trouble picking up Spanish and vice versa. I can pick up something Portuguese and understand at least parts of it (I know because I took a Music of Brazil class last semester).

What I *cannot* understand, however, is Mancunian English, haha.

Spanish is poorly spoken, unsophisticated Portuguese (j/k)!!!! I speak half decent spanish and fluent Portuguese. Its been my experience that generally, Portuguese speakers understand more Spanish then Spanish speakers understand Portuguese. My parents who speak both fluently, agree with me.

Forget Spanish, Portuguese and whatever else... Gaucho is not worthy of playing for Man U. Why don't we have some chants to wish United a good year.. Farewell to you..until we meet again.. I will be in Philly and chanting up a storm.. Lets send Man U off in fashion.
