Yeah, well seeing as I'll be based in Islington, I'm sure I'll try out a few of the bars in the area. What sort of age groups hang out at the different places though...
Case, don't think I'd have forgotten about the Fabs shirt! I will even remind you of the 7 quid for shipping the AZT 90 III's.:)
I've also heard rumours that the English girls are real conservative ladies...

Are you basing that on Maggie Thatcher :D:D:D
Sorry but that was the best joke I ever made!!!
Seriously tho, as a nation we ain't overly friendly, especially towards strangers. If you say "excuse me" to a guy in a pub he'll assume you're starting or hitting on him...Unless you're wearing the same team shirt that he is then u can shake dudes hand and hug him!
Then this goes for women as well, in a country whereby nodding silently at a childhood friend in the street is considered polite, and talking with anyone you didn't arrive with or arrange to meet is almost taboo, girls are pretty jaded about strangers as they're gonna assume you're trying to get in their Bridget Jones pants if you so much as make eye-contact..... Of course some are more than happy about this so robert's your mothers brother!
Sure this is an exaggeration but in general there's a reason we British were put on an Island....

For anyone who doesn't realise the social significance of Soulja Boy, here's some interesting reading...

I played a friendly/practice football game today, and I was moved into central midfield for the first time ever - wow. I got so much of the ball, and I was flicking balls over players heads, stepping and dragging the ball past players, playing one-twos, distributing balls, and playing incisive cutting passes through to my strikers.
I forgot how much fun football could be, and was surprised how I took to the position.

I used to hate playing central mid, I like it much better out on the wings or in the hole between the front two where you have a lot more freedom. But sounds like you had yourself a good game.

Im not even sorry, right!
Man Becks training with those goon, I bet they make him speak in his rudimentary spanish as well!!! It's a dark dark day and I had to make that cheap shot just trying to keep it together....
I can't figure out where I prefer playing, after the last 2 years up top there's talk of my return from injury being centre mid, yea put the unfit guy in the engine room, good plan! Plus u kno u can't wear no vapors in CM and not like a nub!

Hahaha, I was just speaking the truth! lol, I'm anticipating playing an absolute crap game in that position next time, so I'm enjoying while it lasts.:p
My position definitely is left-back though. I'm completely left footed - my right foot is rubbish. I love running down the line and being able to close a defender down and jockey him against the touchline. I've noticed that I rarely actually make a tackle - it's usually just an interception, or me knicking the ball after waiting for the opposing player to make a mistake.
Anybody watched the movie I am Legend. I've never sat so tense in a movie before. I really really enjoyed the movie.
And on Case's point...this is one of the best pics I've seen this year!

Agreed there tbm. Although I enjoyed the movie, it reminded me a lot of essays I wrote in English tests...
The beginnings are really well thought out and planned, but then the ends is always rushed as I try to finish the story in the last few minutes!!
The zombie things could have been a bit varied as well - their faces basically all looked the same lol

Scowering getty for Becks pics (woe is me) it REALLY grates me how "near yet so far" Mr dassler was with Becks LAG PS's, I mean how ADIDAS manage to NOT match a colorway to a kit ADIDAS makes, both designed specifically with THEIR marquee player in mind, well that's Scott Carson meets puberty amounts of ball-dropping!
Hangon, I made this thread OT, apologies, seeing your hero and mine dancing with the devil has really thrown me....
I wonder how much Mr d will approve of Becks in Swoosh pants:eek:

Becks in Nike is stranger than seeing MJ wearing a Bobcats training tee with a whited-out logo! Becks in goonery, WRONGER!
As in it becomes a "yea but my man Fabregas has nicer hair"-ting

I played RB once when our usual RB was out injured. They only put me their because i can ping a ball. I actually quite enjoyed it. I hardly moved just played loads of long passes.
I like the wing because you get a lot of space to move into. But playing behind the front 2 is fantastic because you really dont have to worry about picking anyone up and can just play how you want too.
