It may not be high on the priority list but we haven't won anything for ages and I for one am pissed off we are not in the final
Yeah, thats what I was trying to say mate. It's not that we don't try to win it, it's just not high in our priorities in comparison. It was my choice of words that made it misunderstood there.
-----
Devil, this is not a personal dig at you at all, I'm just trying to make it understood how crap the loss was...
Bigg I feel for ya I've had these emotions about NY as a season ticket holder when they dropped points and sold players for no reason.
How long have the NY Red Bulls been around for, and how long have you supported them? There is huge history when we're talking about Arsenal vs Spurs. I have supported the team for 10 years now, and I live on a different continent - and I was beyond furious. Bigg meanwhile has been supporting for even longer AND lives in the immediate area. I just don't think you can compare the loss to NY dropping points.
I did one thing to ease my pain not watch the team or read news for a few days or weeks to get it out of my system.
Again, not a personal dig...But it's impossible for him not to. We've got Newcastle this weekend and again midweek. Nevermind not watching them on TV - Bigg will be going to the matches live.

According to todays Sun. The little 'fight' between Dickless Bendtner (as bigg calls him) and Ade was because Ade apparently said to him 'I'm on cause you are shit!!' i mean, you can't have a pop at the man for speaking the truth!!
And im guessing this will make it a whole lot better :
Nicklas Bendtner's father has blasted Emmanuel Adebayor's behaviour following the players' row on Tuesday evening.
Adebayor clashed with team-mate Bendtner during Arsenal's Carling Cup semi-final defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.
During the closing stages of The Gunners' 5-1 loss, Adebayor appeared to strike Bendtner, and an altercation ensued.
On Wednesday, The Football Association confirmed that it will look at footage, with the view to attaining whether the confrontation is worthy of charges which can be retrospectively issued against any individuals.
Bendtner's father Thomas has hit out at Adebayor, and expects Arsenal to resolve the matter internally.
"It's a shame that a player like Adebayor walks out on the pitch without a brain, that he leaves it at home," he told Ekstra Bladet.
"It's not the first time he's done that. It's obvious that Adebayor has to defend himself, but the television pictures tell you what happened.
This episode is not fortunate, but I'm sure Arsenal will sort this out. We'll wait and see."

Brilliant. He wants Arsenal to sort it out internally, but runs his mouth to the press. And Bendtner wasn't total crap -- did you see how high above the defender (Dawson) he got before heading it home? He also had a very heads-up play when he jumped out of the way of Adebayour's shot. How can Adebayour possibly be critical of play like that? ;)
And R&W, your point about the Spurs-Arsenal rivalry not being equal to Red Bulls dropping points is spot on. If any comparison to American Sports rivalry is going to be made, it should be Sox-Yankees. Sox/Yankees fans hate losing to their rival even in pre-season games. There's 100+ years of history between the two teams and the media really plays it up in those two cities. There's no escaping it. Anyway, should be fun watching Boca-River play in the torneo del verano this weekend. Should be intense even though its the summer tourney.

Yeah, Sox-Yankers is a much better comparision, kumazou.
They're so intense, that it makes every other baseball game not even look like a sport, and the games are about an hour and a half longer than the rest.
I'm pretty sure I failed every test I had to take during '04's ALCS comeback.

And this guy has to be the BEST freestyler i have EVER seen in my life. Mr Jeremy Lynch :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytU1O7ZeNCA&NR=1
He's in the film 'In the hands of the gods' which to be honest isn't fantastic. They needed to show more footage of this dude freestyling then the film would have been awsome!
SIGN HIM UP WENGER!

Nah he's the wrong nationality for Wenger...
Seriously tho, I don't care if the guy is slower than Jan Molby and can't kick a ball more than 5 yards, how on earth Kieron Dyer has played international football and dude ain't...
First I really seen of him bar some promo stuff for that film, dude was maaad flow, I always respected Touzani's moves but he ain't got steez, this guy is scandalous... Plus he got ground game not only juggling which puts him ahead of many dudes u see on the tube

Seriously, the film did not show the boys talents!!
If just focused on the mouthy scousers Mikey Fisher who isn't half as good as him. Plus, i remember Mikey Fisher getting seriously denied on football icon after he gave it the big i am to the camera! hahaha!

It's like Case said. Everyone know Touzani and Palle (think thats his name?!) but id never heard of this guy, and to be honest the moves they showed in the film were nothing to what he is capable of. I thought i'd youtube all of the freestylers that were in the film, and when i found that ... WAAAH! the man is a legend!!
And for anyone who wants to get the DVD of 'In The Hands Of The Gods' do not bother its pretty gay.

Funnily enough I got a text message from my mate tday. He sent me all the details for this company looking for football players with good ball skills, to appear in a big advert of theirs.
It's shooting from the 20th to 22nd of February, so I reckon I can get my control and moves flowing if I practice everyday until then!!
As for that DVD Apple - I was seriously contemplating buying it when I was in the UK, but guessed it would be shit. I bout Green Street Hooligans for 3 quid instead, and the Zidane DVD, where a whole bunch of cameras just film him for a full match. I'm yet to watch it, because I lent it to my mate who can't stop raving about it.

I just thought it would have a lot more freestyle moves in than it did considering thats what they were doing to make themselves some money. But sadly it didn't it just filmed them crying and falling out
It wasn't the end of the world though, i got it from Asda for £9.97 haha, if i'd got it from any other store it would have been like £16! then i really would have been gutted!
Green Street is a pretty good film. I just thought they robbed the idea from Football Factory which is a much better film.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Green Street. I watched it until 4:30 am with my mates when we came home from clubbing. Then I watched it the next morning, with my MUM! And then my mates came over to my place to watch the CC Semi, and we ended up watching the DVD again. So I essentially watched it 3 times in one day, yet somehow I managed to enjoy it.

I've been wanting to watch Zidane for a while but it's tough to find around here (might break down and join Netflix since they have it). I remember watching the game they filmed and there was one part where Beckham really played it up for the cameras.
