Well if Michael Ricketts can play for England...

The Lane should be buzzing. It's always better to be an away fan at a derby game, the atmosphere is electric.

i 100% agree away games are better, i dont know what it is about the lane, but the atmosphere and noise is always good, but even moreso when goons or chelsea or wet sham are in town.

It was because R&W went he cursed his beloved Gooners!!!

The only other game I watched Arsenal play live was PSV at Highbury, in 2004...and Arsenal won that game, but played uncharactristically shit. I'm starting to wonder if it is true! I guess the Brum game on Saturday will be the final test. :p

And Case, thank you for the hospitible welcome to London...

quick question, and may seem stupid, but is Adebayor still up for teh game vs B'ham? my fantasy league said he was out for the Cup Of Nations, but it's my understanding that Togo didnt qualify so if osmeone could clarify this I'd appreciate it.

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS CRAPPY WEATHER! 8th week running my game has been called off because of the rain.

Really? Jesus christ!! That is bad, most I had was 6 weeks but our ground was a shithole. Dont think the groundsman even had a pitchfork

i don't think it helps that our home pitch is close to a river either, we might as well just have a winter break because this is the second year running it's happened, just not as long last year, just the 6 weeks then

The pitches by me are by the canal. And the goals by that side of the field always have really water logged corners that you cant see until you are ankle deep in it.

our isn't that bad it just tends to get really boggy, not too much standing water but still unplayable, i was driving around today and some of the pitches near me had ducks and seagulls swimming on them it was that bad, had to laugh at that.

rain seems fine when you have to stop playing because of an insect. we had the fields at the college closed because of ants... fire ants.
