Hey, no sweat 26. Hell you could almost walk here from Buffalo. i know LB follows MLS maybe he'd wanna come up too.

Thing is, they offered the seasons tickets holders options on the all star game, which you could accept or decline and pay extra. So of course i accepted and i would have a strong feeling that pretty much everybody else did too. So there goes 15k of your 20k seats. Now, if its actually Liverpool, well theres a huge liverpool fan base in TO, and add to that a even much huger general soccer fan base....its gonna be a tough ticket. We're gonna run into Mark on the way to the stadium. Mark Up.

Mind you theres a TFC web site with an unneeded ticket exchange, maybe I'll get in there now and grab some extras (if its possible) before they officialize this. not sure how busy it is at this time of year mind you. Maybe I could call the club direct also. Worse comes to worst and they bring over some crapo team like manchester or something instead,I'll just re-sell em.

stay posted. Funny roundabout...I only bought the tickets last year becouse of a obviously incorrect rumour that TFC might sign Robbie Fowler :D Turned out to be a real hoot, killed the off season nicely. They even played a friendly against Aston Villa which was cool. But this would be a real chart topper.

I'm still holding out hope that Tom Hicks can arrange a Liverpool vs. FC Dallas friendly!

Liverpool has been confirmed as one of the teams who will be participating in the Dallas Cup next March, though like all the other clubs, they'll be sending their under-18 squad. Still, that's better than nothing- Harry Kewell played for the Leeds youth squad in the 1997 Dallas Cup, so hopefully a few future Reds will be making the trip this time.

Liverpool U19's are already scheduled to play in a tournament in the US in June so this wouldnt surprise me

If Liverpool come to the states again I am going no matter where it is, I missed out the last time they came a few years back. I missed out last time. I would hope that they would go to Chicago, that being closer to me (12 hour drive). But I could road trip it to Toronto.

Yep, that's the Dallas Cup that I mentioned in the above post. Here's the website:

Liverpool's first match is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 vs. Slavija Sarajevo.

Sweet. I work down the street from the stadium and it'll be fun watching those games. Last year, we had Manchester Utd here and some La Liga kiddo teams, plus some other all star teams. Those Liverpool kiddoes are gonna love the fields here. They're arguably the best soccer... errr.. football fields in the US, by far.

Haven't played in the main stadium but in plenty of the side fields. If any of you guys are coming down, make sure to keep your eyes open. Last year, I ran into former Man. Utd youth, Rossi at Subway with some others. :-D

Of course, because the full team ALWAYS follows the U19's wherever they go!

I would love to see this happen, hopefully Jozy Altidore will score a hattrick on us and we will buy him. *Wishful thinking*:D

Well, let it be known now. If either of you guys find tickets for this. I'll take a spare [or two]. Seriously, it's a hop skip jump for me to Toronto. :)

Ok, i contacted the club ticket sales people and they rushed out to not phone me back yet, so thats a snails pace at the moment. The issue there i would say is that the seasons tickets have not been printed/delivered as of yet, in fact the schedule has not been released, so single game tickets are not yet on sale. this probably applies to the all star game also, but if they do contact me i hope to wangle a "reservation" out of the sales rep. I'll keep barking up the tree now and then.

Secondly i went on to the main supporters club website and posted a request on the ticket exchange that they have. i esplained that i knew that the tickets had not been sent out but i would like a commitment to sell so i could finalize travel plans. some fine old bs. Pretty much all the STH probably have tics and given that its during the summer and people vacation and travel and so on, this could work.

My idea is to get the tickets locked up before its widely suspected that Liverpool may be the opponent becouse that is gonna move the stock believe me. As i said, if it turns out to be someone else i'll just resell them.

So thats the update. Cant wait to see our summer signings Kaka and Puyol in action...:D

Update to that last, the Guy from TFC did call me back, and he said that perhaps the seasons ticket holders might get a crack at a few remaining tickets before mls sweeps up all the remainders, becouse not all the season tickets holders took up the option to buy. Says that the game/schedule may be announced mid-late january at the award ceremony.

See there you go i had no idea there was an awards ceremony. :D

He "flagged" my account and told me to keep calling as we get closer to january.

I checked the ticket xchange and there was one post from a guy with 2400 posts and he said "yeah, good luck with that buddy, now that it might be liverpool." to that effect.

So much for our little secret. Anyway, if it is i will get tickets one way or another. Other than the two i already have that is he he he....

oh sorry did i say that out loud? never mind. I'm on the job. ;)

Intersting article, suggests July 24 or 31 as possible dates and says 4 clubs have been approached...some Bozo's named Munich, Madrid and Barca and one really good team outta England.

You want a what kinda tool?
