Giving Mark a couple more picks wouldn't have helped things.
If Gilberto went, I was thinking of Kleberson too.
M. Svensson of Southampton was another I would have given.
Hal also picked another of my fall-backs.....
So it's back to the drawing board.
As I guess you're all still asleep, I'll just go and make myself a cup of coffee and look at the options.
If any one wants to PM me their picks..... I'll be online all day and would gladly put in one of your choices in my team.
:)

I have your instructions but I'd rather have a list of names -- in preference order.

I fear I'm out for perhaps the whole day tomorrow [Ed -- now today], an unwilling passenger on a pointless trip to pick up a car. Hopefully the 6 before my next pick all show up tonight and my absence will coincide with time I won't be needed. Knowing I'll be away, though, I've prepared 3 choices I'd take with my pick and can easily provide them to someone else if need be. I recommend similar preparations for anyone who expects to be away, in fairness to everyone.
Ok, so you get your first pick in... call Jay and leave your next picks with him.

Man... i signed on at 6 this morning... been waiting all freakin day to make a pick... this is silly, this should not have taken so long... ahhhhhhhh!!!!!
If you sign in so early again today and don't want to hang around all day, you could PM a few picks to me.
I'll choose your first two (that are still available), then the draw gets back to me..... and I have Darr's picks.... so we'll be rolling again.

Jonathan (Ingromius) makes his pic and calls Jay (DoctorJones24) on the cell phone.
Mark (kopiteinkc) should also be around by then and has instructions from Paul (Clanblue).
We'll then be waiting on BuffloSoldier and JG_Revs to show up.... before Hal can throw in another bargain and start looking at which managers need to offload a 'star' player to fill up their squad.
BuffloSoldier and JG_Revs showed up around 6pm (my time) yesterday.
Maybe they were around earlier but just didn't post, otherwise Hal will have a long wait.... that's about mid-day in the states.
Oh well.
Next time we do a draft, I suggest the draft order be made in order of prefered online time or telephone contacts.
Needless to say, I'll either be first, or last, in the chain of events.
But at least then I get to make a double pick and can disappear for a few hours.
;)
Good Morning Michel and everyone else.
I see we've made grand progress - 2 more picks. Such is life. All in all, it's gone faster than some other live drafts I've been involved in.
I'm still bummed out about Kleberson. Looking at money remaining, I thought I only had to worry about Michel pulling such a shrewd move.
Let me see 31.0 M - est 8.0 M = est 23.0 mil not 24.0 mil. Now we're even, Michel.
I fear saving this salary cap may backfire. It's the only thing I could think of for drafting 9th of 10.

Tempting... but no, although I will be out for most of the day, until about 4:30-6:00pm EST I really doubt that it will swing around to me, we have a kind of order, it seems to take 24hrs. to get up and down the line, so I should be safe, after all, there are what, 15 choices to be made before me i think.
