With Michel keeping track of the Balance, this will not happen. If a manager tries to sign someone that will leave him with not enough to pick the rest of his team (say at an avg. of 3/player), then that pick will not be allowed.

In answer to Darr's question. Each manager's draft has to fit within the 100 M cap. Therefore, for those with 40 M left for 8 more players can't spend more than 5 M each on average. It is up to the managers to plan for that.

Likewise, we all have to adhere to the no more than 3 players from the same team.

An exception to this might be when a player is traded between teams (I.e. Veron going from Man U to Chelsea) If the manager already had 3 Chelsea players and then Veron got traded, that would be an authorize expection.
