Well, I won't lie I'm nervous going away but we have a great chance to win this one. Still no King or Rocha but from what I was told they are looking better. So again (gulp and prays) kaboul and dawson in the middle and chimbo and lee on left and right back. I honestly think Ramos should let Defoe start the game. I personally think he's earned it. It won't an easy match but if we play solid D (yeah solid D) and just get out those STUPID simple basic mistakes we can come away with a win and 3 pts.

My prediction is 2-1 spurs but If we draw I will not be disappointed.

BTW this game is on Setanta Sports USA Xtra (DirecTV Channel 670) at 9:55 am so GET UP early you Yiddos if your in the east coast of the US! My ass will be, hopefully not HUNG OVER hahah. COYS!

I'm predicting a Spurs win 7-0, but if 'Arry wants to avoid an embarassment down south, we'd settle for a 3-1 victory and letting us have Matt Taylor on a Free. Make the deal 'Arry, it's for your own good.

They've had no midweek game in who knows how long, hope Gus and Ramos have been drilling them on defence at the Lodge. Portsmouth have been on such a good run, it has to end somewhere :D, right?

A tough opponent, so I wouldn't be too depressed with a loss, but I have a feeling we will sneak a point. Even with no away wins, we have drawn an awful lot. Shame there is still no Robbie, so maybe chanman will get his wish for a Defoe start, as Bent started last week. I think Jermain has got some luck against Pompey in recent years.

Are they the team with most ex-Yids? Mendes, Davis, Pamarot, Judas...?

Encouraging to hear Ledley is close to being back. Perhaps for NLD next week? What a boost that would be.

We aint won away from home all season and Portmouth would be one of the hardest places to get something, I'd deffinetly would settle for a draw with the defencive problems we have.

Lineup:

Chimbo Zokora Kaboul Lee
Boateng
Lennon Jenas Malbranque
Bent Berbatov

Dawson's ill, so Zoks takes his place.

I'll go 2-2. Pompey has been drawing a lot at home and we just simply draw a lot. They've also got some firepower, but I see us dishing it right back to them.

See above, chanman. Dawson's apparently sick, so Zoks is in his place. I honestly don't mind, as Zoks gives us more pace, which is something that Pompey definitely has up top and in the middle of the field.

Boateng missed a wonderful opportunity when Lennon pulled it back across the box. HE shot right at james and Steed for the putback but..... HE was offsides... DAMN!

damn, i saw on soccernet that we got a 3-5-2 formation.. this could either get ugly.. or be exciting as hell..

im gonna assume that boateng is the '2nd' center back/ defensive mid and playing right under zokora...

We are playing this bro

Chimbo Zokora Kaboul Lee
Boateng
Lennon Jenas Malbranque
Bent Berbatov

So far we are dominating possession. Both have had good chances, our chances have been better.

Lisening on radio, sounds like we are making a game of it. Berbatov is mentioned on every bit of defence! I'll be amazed if this defence keeps a clean sheet.

Dawson is sick but our D has been pretty good so far. Reason Berbs are on D alot or so is Portsmouth set pieces are horrible as in each corner isn't getting past the first defender aka berbs.
