Well deserved. Hacks like Liebeskind could learn a lesson from Piano. His work has been innovative, functional and tasteful all at the same time.
Though for the life of me I still have no idea how they plan on washing the windows at the new NY times building.

i've always been a huge fan of him and his work. knowing how pleased he was to get this award makes him sound like a very sincere individual as well.
Thank you, thank you, thank you—I have to drink some champagne! America is my second home and now it feels even more like home to me.
his building workshop office (punta nave, in italy) itself is probably my all-time favorite, of his, of anyone's.
