This time it's Gerrard's house that has been robbed. His wife was home though, I am glad no one was hurt.

maybe the players should start thinking about hiring a couple security guards for the two nights they're gone?

It's bad if it comes to that, but its not like they cant afford a couple of security guards for a few nights when travelling.
All it means is that they might have to put off that new Porsche for another week to afford security for a year! ;)

The clubs gonna provide security from now on and its about time. You have to wonder if this is gonna effect Stevie g at all....i mean shit his wife and 2 kids under 3 were home. Make you nuts. Hiring some rent-a-cops for 10 bucks an hour and advertising the hell out of it should stop this crap in a hurry. The family being home makes this pretty different, serious matter.
on the other hand,to make light of a serious matter just for fun, I suspect that there will eventually be a link come out between this, Sir Alex and that damn Manc Kid that jumped in front of his car earlier this year. :D Its just too damn fishy these repeated mental blows to the MBE. Maybe im wrong about this, but i hear the police investigation is codenamed "Operation Rednose".....and the descriptions....5-7 to 5-9 wearing a balaclava and scarf....If that aint Sir Al and the kid i dont know what is.
He's taken it to a new level since that blow to the jewels earlier this year. To think that poor nice homeless man is still in jail. When he gets out i say we stick him on security detail give him a shot at redemption. :D
