I live in toronto's west end. I was just at the Foggy Dew on King St. in Toronto and they are giving away 4 tickets to the All Star game July 24th. The best part of it is that you get to play foosball to win. They have this awesome tournament set up. the first tournament is on 18th ane 19th and the second one is 21st and 22nd. you should check it out. Apparently they are giving away the table at the end of the game. see you at the game

Hey everyone. I'm Matt, I'm 14 and I'm from Sydney and lets just say a learning soccer fan ;) :DWelcome, Matt. Let's just hope people think we're twins just because we have . at the end. :o

Anyway, I'm 15 and I'm from Melbourne. The same as Matt, I'm a learning soccer fan. Don't mind it.

Figured I'd get my post count up and say hello. I'll shortly post a blog about what Durian Durian means. Living in Vancouver and having access to Asian grocery stores all over the place has led me to the discovery of this (treat?). Look it up on wikipedia if you can't find one in a Chinatown near you. They stink.

Aside from that, I just enjoy who ever plays a beautiful style, and is committed to developing a total football style of soccer. I'm not too keen on defensive styles that kill the flow and play of a match.

Hola,
I am from California and I joined the forum because it appears as though some of you have knowledge or information about soccer clubs in Velez Malaga, Spain. My 22 year old son arrived there yesterday, with another soccer player and is attending some tryouts set to commence on Monday the 21st. My son played D1 soccer at University of California at Riverside and his partner at UCLA. I am trying to find out more about Club Futbol de Velez Malaga and any surrounding clubs and any websites that I can go to for the purpose of educating myself with the various leagues. I have been told that it is a Division 3 team and yet I saw somewhere where they were a Division 2B team. I don't understand the difference being a newbie to European soccer. Any info would be appreciated and while I understand some Spanish the websites in Spanish are a bit difficult for me to understand.
Thanks,
jmpunit

Hi, a friend told me this is where all of the action is.

Yo, I am Highly Calculated, or HC. Real name is Rob, and I am an American who has pretty much given up on sports in my country (aside from the MLS and my 49ers).

Mainly joined here because I noticed someone from another site's board seems to think highly of these boards.

I only really follow the Quakes, though Barcelona always will have a place in my heart, due to the fact I would have never got into the sport if Ronaldinho didn't get so much hype pre World Cup 06 if he didn't win the treble with them.....then I really bought into the whole "mes que un club" thing....

I am of Portuguese decent and therefore root for their National team (I still care for the US team more) and tend to follow players from Portugal more then others.

I am generally in the know about the MLS's business goings ons, and tend to despise American soccer fans who don't follow the MLS. You are the reason soccer has problems in America.

What I am hoping for is that these boards provide me with a place where I can just discuss the sport itself, and not always have to deal with anti-soccer Americans, anti-MLS American soccer fans, or anti-American Euros.

Hey everyone
I'm from Norway and I fell in love with the beautiful game when I watched the world cup in 1998.
I don't support a particular team,I'm just fascinated by all the different tactics, formations, managers and of course the talented players.
I'm looking forward to discussing and arguing with all of you about the worlds greatest sport.

Live in Norwich in the UK but support Arsenal. Also keep an eye out for Norwich City's results as I live here.

Be good for some banter to be thrown about!

Been browsing these forums for a while now, figured I would start posting. My name is Justin-Cade, Cade is fine and the easiest obviously.

Started watching some random games I would catch a couple yrs ago, and now I try to keep up with everything in La Liga and Premier, and other teams. Been trying to recruit and have been successful in getting friends into the sport, with the exciting EURO games.

I love and support Madrid, Liverpool and of course local FC Dallas. Hopefully I will make it out to some games soon along with friends so the club and MLS can continue to grow for the better.
