I don't care a toss what Everton do, I want us to play our strongest team.
Who cares if we finish 9th or 12th in the Premier, I want a cup.

Select from these;
Green, Wright, McCarthy, Gabbidon, Upson, Neill, Collins, Spector, Etherington, Boa Morte, Parker, Mullins, Noble, Ljungberg, Cole, Ashton.
I think that Curbs has used Wright in every cup game so far, so does Green get to sit this game out on the bench? if so, it wouldn't be our strongest team.

That's the way the norvunners say it!! :rolleyes:
Wright has served us well in the cup but it's time to start playing Green. It's the quarter finals and hopes are starting to rise towards us winning a cup.
Ashton and Cole don't seem to really gel up front for my money. One of Cole's weaknesses is his team play and this is one of Ashton's strengths. What we really need is someone to run off Ashton but with only two strikers to choose from this poses a problem.
Ethers is doubtful so we may need to play Boa on the left. Ljungberg seems to be favourite to start on the right so who goes up front?
Looks like we have no choice but to start with Ashton and Cole. Perhaps if it doesn't work we can take one of them off and shift a winger up front.
I am looking forward to this game though and I will be gutted if we lose. But as ever a good performance is the main thing.

I've had 50 years of good performances and lost.
I WANT TO WIN NOW.

Haha. As you know Blaine that's not the way West Ham do things.
Having said that we do seem to have shored up the defence quite well lately and have proved we are capable of stopping good teams fro scoring. So maybe we have a good right to expect a win, even a non glamourous one.

Ashton and Cole working well. Midfield pushing forward. Everton on the back foot, according to Gale 'look brittle'
