I actually think this a good move for Ever. Talking with some EPL friends, they say Moyes has a knack for working with young players and getting them sorted out. I also believe that the pace of play will benefit his skill set just fine. Watching his few matches for Valencia and Atletico, it was clear he was a bit too physical for Spain.

I think his problem is that his steps are shorter, and he is not fast, which makes him arrive to the ball a second too late, and foul too often.

No, something must went wrong, however Everton won't get him.
Valencia rejected a 7 M € bid from Germnay for Banega...but Stuttgart have money.

WTF? Could Ever be the impending second coming of El Conejito Saviola? Get some playing time and establish yourself and then become a picky punk about where you later end up:rolleyes:

Lol Moishe, you haven't watched Valencia this pre-season have you? Banega has been an undisputed starter and has been in great form (back to his young Boca best). He's not going anywhere.
Also he started in the Europa League already so he wouldn't be able to play in that competition for another team. If he keeps his checked on firm, then this will be his breakout season at Valencia. I'm sure of it.

Volrath you are correct, I haven't really watched Valencia so far this pre and season. What I found funny was that Everton went so far as to post a big feature on their website. It has to be a special match for me to watch a stream so I'll be waiting for GolTv to step up.

Good game by Ever today. Assist and was involved with the second goal as well. Let's hope he keeps it up.

He got much better as the game progressed. The assist he was given credit on was a very nice little pass set up by an evening better run. In truth he should I thought he deserved an assist for Pablo's goal as well. Again Ever made a nice cut back towards the center of the box and as he was winding up to shoot Pablo just pounced on the ball.

That's an overstatement, did you see Monaco and Fiorentina's last week? Geez... However it was good because that made Niembro and Rek shut up their fat asses for a while.
It seems Banega is finally showing his true potential in Europe, good another alternative for the national team. The numbers in that "passes ranking" look impressive.
