Just incase, I would folow the first time in my life an ENGLISH team...:cool::eek: ! You know it makes sense, even though we somehow managed to lose......

We should not have lost, simple as that really. Cardiff were poor, apart from the excellent (IMO) Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank who still showed some superb touches despite his age. Blackpool without Wes Hoolahan (who is injured apparently) though and we had no-one who can run at players with the ball. However, we were still the better team yet we lost. Hit the crossbar, headers just over the bar, shots just past the post, great saves from Schmeichal (or however it is spelt).

It was a cold night though and I am just about thawing out now having been home for about half an hour!

The players decided to announce though that they haven't been shaving their beards and wouldn't be doing so until we lost............. WHOOPS!

Cardiff only brought about 150 fans, not a great turn out. But it is a cold Tuesday night, a 4-5 hour drive in the run up to Christmas and with European football on tv so no surprise they didn't bring too many. As usual the home stands were fairly full, though probably about 700 short of capacity.

Next up Stoke City (and I will do as mentioned and have it as just the one thread!) Stoke will almost certainly fill the away stand and with the home stands probably being nearly full, it should be close to a full house.

There are now even more videos on You Tube from the Nobbers game so will open a thread for that match to post them!

Also there are a hell of a lot of videos on You Tube from the League One Play Off Final from May against Yeovil at Wembley, so I will open a thread for them if that is ok?

For the Nobbers match Sky Sports did a special feature for their weekly "Big Weekend" programme and it was the main match the focussed on. They had a camera crew and reporter at Bloomfield Road up in the Hospitality Lounge covering the 500 'Pool fans who saw the match live on a special coverage at the ground, the camera crew then zoomed 12 miles down the M55 to cover the second half at Dumpdale. Pretty decent coverage too it was, maybe it might get up on You Tube at some point but I doubt it as they seem to be quite strict this season about that sort of stuff unfortunately.
