He became the youngest post-war debutant for England against Scotland. Michael Owen only broke the record about 43 years later in 1998.

No that's not the answer - although the facts you quote are correct. Read the question a little more closely. The answer can be found in the piece I wrote about Duncan entitled "simply the Best" which I believe is on this board.

In April of 1955, he was selected to play for England against Scotland at Wembley - he became the youngest player ever to play for his country at senior level at the age of just 18 years and 183 days. Unheard of in those distant days

Duncan Edwards became the first full international of represented England at at schoolboy, Youth, Under-23, and B-team level ?

Im struggling as you already mentioned he's the youngest ever to play for a country...:confused:
was never left out of England's team.

No it's not. He became the first ever FULL international player to play in the FA Youth Cup the week after he played against Scotland at Wembley. played for England one week and the United youth team the next.
