Me to. And for once I think this will be the formation that Rafa will go with as well. I'm sure this will be a hard game with Marseille putting ten men behind the ball. But with Yossi, Gerrard and Torres on the pitch I know we will find a way through.

Despite my disappointment at the game vs Reading...im happy that Hyypia, Kewell, Benayoun, Babel, Finnan, Kuyt, SG and Torres didnt play 90 mins.

We have to play with width as we will need all the space we can get against a team that most likely play a compressed style.

Im counting on Harry to produce his best in this match...its a big game and we need him to show everyone that he is one of our most important players...c'mon boys...id love nothing more than for us to repeat the Olympiakos game

Team i would like to see (there isnt any point in making a team prediction...we should just post what we would like to see)

____________Reina___________

Finnan___Carra___Hyypia___Arbs

___________Masch___________

Yossi________SG________Kewell

________Kuyt___Torres_______

Bench: Itandje, Riise, Hobbs, Lucas, Babel, Voronin, Crouch

Seems we all agree on the side -- now it is simply down to execution.

Another "Cup Final" Well let's see how Rafa handles this one. He's going to have to do something special to redeem himself after Saturday.

What day is this one on? I've forgotten

It's on Tuesday.

Guess whos skipping class again? :D

I want to see Babel feature in this game as well, he's been clicking well recently. If Yossi or Babel aren't on their game, I'd like Ryan in there.

Aren't both Xabi and Agger near full fitness?

I actually convinced my Wellness "professor" to reschedule my final to Monday so I wouldn't have to worry about it interfering with something that is a lot more important than a stupid Wellness class.

What in the world is a "wellness" class? Is that like Health?

Yes, basically it's a class that I never go to because the teacher

1. Repeats things I have heard all of my life. Basically all the stuff that I want to do is bad for me (see drinking, smoking, staying out late, eating fast food). And all the stuff I am supposed to do but don't as often as I should is good for me (see exercise, eating veggies and fruits, etc).

2. She puts her notes online as well.

Also there is an activity part of it, which is just stupid. Its like phys ed in high school all over again, except we didn't even play soccer this year.

Wow thats strange. I've had a course like this in HS but it doesn't really exist at my University.

I think its only rational to ditch that class, especially when Liverpool is playing. In fact, it would be unhealthy for you to miss the game so you're really following your class advice.

Voronin or Crouch for Kuyt and I'll be happy.

Why...the last time that Kuyt and Torres played together the frontline looked better...i know that Reading game isnt a standard to measure against but Crouch didnt look that good and im sparing Voronin this time as he is a SS or a ST not an attacking mid...whenever he plays this role for Ukraine he also plays shit...yet when they play him in a more central position he does well...if Rafa doesnt start Babel against Marseille then why couldnt he start against Reading with SG and bring Kewell on for Babel if needed

Voronin or Crouch for Kuyt and I'll be happy.

Voronin didn't play too well against Reading, but that was partly his fault and partly Rafa's.

I think that Crouch and Torres, could play together and be successful, but this isn't the game for them to get more time. As Saturday showed, Torres and Crouch can't both be on the field in a 4-3-3 and perform their best. But in a 4-4-2 it will eventually, hopefully, come together for those two.

Torres and Kuyt up top to start it out, and depending how the game goes we have a plethora of options off the bench (potential striker subs being Crouch, Veronin, Kewell, and Babel).

Can you talk about this a little more? I know no one is happy with Saturday's results, but I don't think the three up front was the big culprit. I would think Crouchy would do better in the 4-3-3 because he's got more people around him to pick up the long balls he knocks down.

By the way, I was reading these posts to my one year old before bed time and I think he said, "Babel". Or maybe he was just saying bubble. Not sure.

Well you should be able to say that since Crouch & Voronin got full games on the weekend, Kuyt will start this one alongside Torres.

Crouch can be used as the supersub if nothings happening later on in the game.

And in other news......... really?

Marseille midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has warned his team-mates that Liverpool will be a far tougher proposition in Tuesday's (Wednesday morning AEDT) UEFA Champions League crunch match than in their first meeting.
