Metal/SG Studs

Hello there fellow Refs,
I really want to get SG boots for my High School season (California), because I play on really tall/wet/muddy terrain (Junior Varsity) and I just can't get my traction right with Firm Ground studs...But I heard that you can't use Nike's SG Studs found in Vapor/Talaria/Laser/Strike/etc. due to the "sharp" cone like Stud. Is this true? And I also heard that you can't even use SG (Metal) studs all together even if they are Adidas SG studs (Bladed) as well?! Can anyone confirm this? Well I'm going to post this message in the Ref. Section as well.

I have had no problems with wearing my metal studs for the tunits, and plan on getting those sg vapors you are talking about. For my games when the ref checks you and you are wearing metal studs, he just runs his hand over them to mark sure they have no sharp or jagged edges.

Good response amigo. :D Well now I'm down to get either F50s or DB Predator Absolutes SG but I just can't pick... :o

Not equiptment forum, but predators. My favoriteb boot ever. Dont get the DB's. Get powerswerves, or just absolutes-non synthetic.
