Hoooooo yea, brothers. Come celebrate Tevezmania!
Seems like the actual thread for him was forgotten amidst all the rubbish surrounding the deal.
I predict he will be in our top 3 performers this season. I also think he'll be player's player of the season.. additionally, Tevez will be a legend and a massive fan favourite here, I'll solidly wager.
Those of you who were around just before we got Rooney would know I've been high on this player for years now and he was my immediate second pick if we couldn't land Rooney.
He's United-type through and through and he is going to bring an old school feeling of euphoria to many a fan who remember when the PL was played on mud trough pitches back in the early 90's and grit was probably more important than skill.
Carlos is born to play for a team like us and I've said already that I believe he'll be the one player, if any can, that will take us from CL hopefuls to CL winners. Just watch for him in all our big games as well.
Baptism of fire for the lad tomorrow.

Good post DS... I'm right there with you on this. I think Tevez is going to excel greatly for Manchester United. A solid workhorse, with great ability to put the ball in the ole onion bag..

I always loved Tevez and was one of the few who was wishing and wanting for him to come this summer. I also agree with DS and say that he will be a big hit at this club this year and a legend. Oh Carlos Tevez, number #1 Fan

The thing that I like about Carlos is that he is always smiling and is not miserable like some players-sorry Neviller.

I agree. Tevez does play with a smile on his face but it is deceiving. Deep down he is an aggressive player with bullish determination and a great motor on him. He will not be knocked about easily and defenders up and down the country should be worried. Rooney and Tevez are strong and aggressive enough to battle against anyone they play against but they also possess the touch and skill to tear you apart once they've finished fighting you. They are also deceptively quick as well so we have an awesome ability to hit teams on the break now with these two plus Ronaldo and Giggs.
I cannot wait to see Carlos on Wednesday and I am very excited about him and Rooney in attack. I just have this feeling that those two along with Carrick and Hargreaves will work together perfectly in two partnerships that can really take us to greatness. Fergie has been quietly beavering away, doing his homework, while Mourinho was moaning all last season and now, as long as players can stay fit, we have a potentially great side, all capped off by one Carlos Tevez in attack. Nice.....

When he first got to Brazil, everybody, including his team-mates, wanted to knock the kid into oblivion.

Unfortunately for you guys, he was THE ABSOLUTE BEST player there, so the players had to kiss his ass or leave him alone.

Yeah they've mentioned that quite a bit the past few weeks.
I'm sure Scholesy will give him a famous tackle in training and then let it go.

There was anice shot of them shaking hands before the game on Sunday.
Quite a build-up DS, I sincerely hope he lives up to it. We're really going to need him these next two months and hopefully when Wayne comes back the two of them will hit it off perfectly and we'll have the best strikeforce in Europe!

It's unfortunate, but if he is anything less then amazing, especially with whats going wrong he'll be looked upon as a disappointment. But I think he'll rise up, he has such a physical presence in the front, and if he can continue where he stopped last year it'll be like having a Rooney thats on form:cool:
