Compliments to NUFC.com (http://www.nufc.com/) for the match preview

We return to Premiership action on Saturday when Alex McLeish puts his 100% record as Blues boss (played one, won one) on the line at SJP in an old-fashioned 3pm KO.

NUFC: (from) Given, Harper, Beye, Enrique, Rozehnal, Taylor, Edgar, Butt, Milner, Geremi, Emre, N'Zogbia, Barton, Smith, Viduka, Martins, Ameobi.

No real changes in availability for Allardyce from Wednesday: Faye, Cacapa and Carr are all still less than 100%, Duff lacks match practice after his reserve comeback was rained and Shola is out of favour.

Ramage, Babayaro and Owen complete the injury list.

BCFC: (from) Taylor, Kingson, Doyle, Kelly, Ridgewell, Djourou, Schmitz, Sadler, Queudrue, Larsson, Muamba, Nafti, McSheffrey, Kapo, O'Connor, Forssell, Jerome, Johnson, Palacios.

Midfielder Damien Johnson appeared in his second comeback reserve game during the week, but isn't yet ready for a first team spot.

O'Connor and McSheffrey are doubts.

The Blues have taken maximum points from their visits to Derby and Spurs so far in this campaign, also playing out a scoreless draw at Anfield.

Defeats have come at Chelsea, Boro, Blackburn, Man City and Everton.

Ref: Rob Styles - first sighting this season for this Hampshire-based official. Last season saw him take charge of our home win over Reading and draw with Man U, plus the victory at West Ham and finald day stalemate at Watford.

Let's all hope the momentum from the last game carries over into this one instead of going all to pieces.

Anything less than 3 points is unacceptable in this one.

Agreed. I think this game is much more important in the grand scheme of things for the season and BSA than the Arsenal game. We need three points, which I think we will get.

By the way, Sky Sports is predicting a 1-0 Newcastle win. Bit of bold move to predict a clean sheet for us, don't you think? :D

I say play the same team, same formation, and same tactics as Wednesday. Everyone and their mother are crying for Zoggy left mid and Milner right mid(been done and resulted in nothing) so I'm going with keep the left strong and let Beye provide some width on the right. Maybe when Duff gets fit move Milner back to the right full time. Right now I like it.

3-2 for the Mags. Barton on the score sheet.

Guess who's back?

Football season is over and this will be the first match I've seen all season.

Gotta get used to seeing some of these new names and not having Bramble to blame for everything.

You see I had the Mags 27-24 on a late Geremi field goal.

Poor defense once again down 1-nil  Rozy started the season well in the back there, but man that wasn't top league defending.

Viduka in for Butt. Hopefully we can generate some offense. I cannot believe Newcastle couldn't put the ball in at close range a couple minutes ago.

Viduka with a golden chance in the box and pissed it away. So many chances this half, only one goal.
