it doesnt make much sense. If we want to get this started, we need to work together, not in packs. Because then we will just look like a bunch of idiots.

Why would we bring nacional flags??? To answer your question its very simple Nacional to us is and will always be 1st and foremost and above and beyond any other team we may decide to support in this case NY expansion....That is a reality no one can change...While it does not mean we wont make flags for the expansion team but the reality is the Bolso flags will be at every game we are at....our own personal flags from nacional go hand and hand with us we take them every where... My own personal flag is still UNDEFEATED with the United states national team.... a 500. avg with Uruguay as of today....we are recognized by Club Nacional de football as the first United States based fan club... third International fan club to pop up...Our banners have been to mexico argentina and brasil and 90% of Uruguay...It goes every where with us why should we make an exception in NY... They currently show up in NJ.... here they are..these pics are from Flushing meadows park at the 108 aniversery of nacional BBQ.. the dude is one of my cats from the crew "cabeza"

I dont want to sound like a dick just giving every one the heads up.... when I feel inspired to make a NY flag I will and it too will hang along the nacional banners... and these 2 I designed for ya already... now you have the look go and make them a reality to hang as banners later on.... I'll design them yous go make them...

here is the latest one that was designed and is being air brushed this week in Uruguay to debute in January of 2008....just so ya can see my work...... if you like my art like I said B-4 I'll design an army of flags yous make them...This one will never be seen here because its based in uruguay but still for you to see what i have done for other peeps as well....

If i make a personal 1 up for the NY team I'll do it but it will hang there along side the only banners dedicated to the True Kings of cups with 21 official international championships...

I thought that flags were for a club team...if it's a national team..that's different.
You can see why I would think it odd to bring a flag from a club to our game rather than a national team banner.

Of course its going to be a NYC section...it wont be from NJ or CT or Upstate thats for sure.. But our Nacional flags are going.... now we would be out of our minds if we also went in there and sang for nacional when there is no nacional on the field which will not be the case we will reword all the nacional songs to (expansion team name here.. I heard it was going to be a rival energy drink of Red Bull called Nitro FC) and hope the non spanish cats can pick it up in a few weeks or months....


I just read about international flags for every player I say F the players.. Players come and go and so do coaches and GM and owners the international flags should represent the people of different back grounds in the section.. as more flags come over you patch them all up together with the BB logo flag as the center piece with every thing else all around it....

The reality is this post is a few years too early...... 3 years......it seems like every thing will go down next year but its 3 long years from even becomming a reality......which makes all this even more disapointing.... I might as well start a post about trophy banners won..........this is also 3 years away at the least.....

Yea that would be real cool to stitch all of our flags together,and I like your idea(national flags of the supporters).And it would be awesome to have English/Spanish......hell even chants in other languages. I would even love English/Spanish call and response.3 years,ugh i know lol. I wish it would come alot sooner.

Showing another teams flags simply shows fellowship with that teams supporter group. I for one LOVE nacional and wouldnt mind the flags there. They are one team that has fcuking balls when they play. In Uruguay they are MY TEAM.

I think it shows the unity really well

I also think if someone is going to fly flags of another team the MLS and its fans should be happy. Think about it. For years people never really took our league seriously and never mentioned it in the same breath of any international league. Now the supporters of those very leagues are showing up in our stadiums and supporting our teams. Lets see flags! Different Flags - as long as we are all singing for New York City!

I'm a huge Chelsea Fan, but I wouldn't make a Chelsea banner to place in a stadium. I want people to think we actually care about our team, and that this isn't just a podium to show what team you like more.

I think that this is a little different. It's not one person bring in a flag from another team. You have an officially recognized supporter group of Nacional de Montevideo coming to support the NYC expansion team. That's the main difference.

Just an idea for a flag - banner - its kind of a serious one but what about a flag with this famous picture of the strenth of new york.

Maybe blue background and the actuall photo in white or something!

I would like that alot,we dont even have to put our logo on it(I dont know if I would be comfortable with that,we'll all discuss)but we can put something like "New York City Forever" across the top. But we have to make some sort of 9/11 tribute flag.Nothing political just a tribute to our fallen brothers and sisters.
