Let's get started, shall we? With a win, I believe that we can not only confirm a place in the knock-out but win the group as well. However, Anderlecht can do the same so there will be plenty of motivation (apart from history). Leds, Rocha, B A-E and Bale are all out but Jenas is set to return. Kaboul has been dropped so I would expect our back line to be made of Lee, Dawson, Chimo and Stalts--or maybe Juande will go with 3 in the back and 5 in the midfield? The key today will be defense, not only in the back but in the midfield as well--if we can defend with purpose in the back and middle I think we should get a win today.

TBH I'll be satisfied with a draw, away from home to the group top seeds. We are virtually assured of going through anyway and I don't see this as a high-pressure game where we have anything to prove.

I saw there were only 4 defenders in the squad, without Kaboul, so I think he will go 3 at the back Chimbo-Dawson-Lee with Zokora covering, like we've seen lately. Expect one last hurrah from Keano before his suspension.

I was at the Lane in 1984 the last time these 2 sides met, for the 'Tony Parks' final. Happy days :)

I read he might put Zokora back there like our formation in previous game or put chimbo next to dawson and put lee in there. All I know is our D is on major thin ice. A 3-5-2 might be in order again today with Keane in one of those positions but to me I don't like Keane there. Some plays he just too damn deep and for a guy of his skills I'd rather have him up top with berbs, but I guess we gotta go with what we got right? I know we are in the knockout rounds but I'd like to win our group and get better seeding for it. Also Anderlecht is not a push over, they are usually in the champs league so I hope our team knows that plus away.

I'll be dead honest.. I'll LOVE a win but I can smile from a draw.

Sorry Im just disgusted that the comm would be awful. Jenas is playing defense like a f***ing b****. He is playing grab ass out there. 1 huge bright spot is Hudds and his creative passes. Right as I'am typing this Anderlicht have a great chance on goal I thought it was going in. The announcer made a great comment. He said that you never know what your going to get with our side and I think that is very accurate. Almost half and we look very poor.

Also something was said about Ramos trying to force a partnership with Bent and Keane cause of the speculation with Berbs on his way out. I hope that is not true.

I think that the announcers are touching on some good points. I agree that we don't like to play defense. Defense just doesn't come down to the back it is a total team effort and to be honest were not showing that. Jenas really seems not to want to give it his all on the defensive end. I hope Ramos can make that come true for us.

The lack of defense is what I don't like. He is grabbing instead of trying to get on his man and play heads up. Bad tackles and hand grabbing isn't cutting it. Otherwise his offense is ok not great but ok. Still we are playing like trash.
