Does anyone else like this '80s high school movie?
Underappreciated in my opinion.

Has anyone seen it? Thoughts?

I agree, Great movie. You don't hear much about this movie. I really liked it though.

Its one of the GREATS, right next to "One Crazy Summer", "Just one of the Guys", and "Better Off Dead".

Nice choices, (though "Just One of the Guys" isn't on my list as high as the other two).

3 O'Clock High is outstanding - haven't thought about it in along time and now I want to go out and rent it.

Where the heck where you guys when I stated the same sentiment for this movie a few months ago. A real classic from the 80's. For a while I thought that movie was cursed like Porky's where everybody involved with the project went into career coma. Everything about it is good, but if you notice the writer/s tried way too hard to produce catch phrases like, " I'm hypoglacimic" or something like, " a broken face will last a few weeks, but film is forever". I liked the end where the school rumor starts that Jerry was the pychopath who challenge poor little Buddy Revell for looking it at him the wrong way.

"Three O'clock High" is a classic. And the worst of it all is that I could have been an extra in it. The movie was filmed here in Ogden Utah at Ogden High School. (You can see me though as an extra in Firestarter 2. Although you can barely see me I did get paid 100 dollars.)

Favorite line from the movie, while giving his oral book report, "It was a good read."

I loved when he trashed the bookstore.

Always thought this movie was very underrated. I am curious as to whether this movie struck a chord with a small group of kids at the right age at the right time. I'm 33, and I think people in that area really love this film.
