Poland vs Croatia will be a good game on the pitch and off.

But Poland has better fans overall.

You surely are among the "best" ... but the Croatians are definitely on top when it comes to support!

Their atmosphere against Brasil in Berlin was the best during the whole WC 2006 in my eyes!

i have doubts about loyality of dutch fans

I experienced them in Nuremberg against Portugal and can tell you that they are pretty loyal!

Nearby they showed the best pre-game atmosphere I've ever seen (even above the level of Celtic away games)!

Yeah, there's lots of Croatians here! :)

This is a joke, right?

i have doubts about loyality of dutch fans after i saw ajax fans, but maybee i'm wrong and dutch fans that support other clubs are better.

My point is that the people who travel with the Dutch national team typically don't follow a club in Holland. They're two completely different supporters groups.

You'll find btw that Dutch supporters on the club level are far, far more passionate and loyal than those travelling with the Dutch national team. Both in a positive and in a negative sense. So that's why on the international club level, you will occassionally see Dutch fans causing trouble. Where the Dutch national team is concerned, the fans behave as if they came straight out of convent school.

As for your comment about fans from the Balkans: at the 1998 world cup I sat next to a group of Serbs chanting about Milosevic and Mladic. If that's showing passion for your country, I don't like it one bit.

There are plenty of loyal Ajax fans. I doubt many clubs in the world treat their mosr loyal fans with the disdain with which Ajax does. It's pretty much a miracle that anybody still shows up at Ajax games.

That's a fair point. I do wish you'd get rid of those gay white handkerchiefs though.

You witnessed the orange parade to the stadium then eh. That is a sight to behold it's got to be said.

neither do i , thats nationalism and sadly is still widespread among former yugoslav repubilcs becouse of the war,but people who think that way are minority,at least in croatia they are.

Yep. :-)

But it wasn't only the parade but also the whole party in the city before the game (party busses, live bands and many radio & tv stations).

Well those fans singing about Milosevic in 1998 were obviously Serbs! Seriously that's the weirdest experience I ever had in my entire life of following the Dutch NT around. Other than getting verbally abused and spat on by Scotland fans when we left the stadium after they actually beat us.

I know! It's true though. And strangely after they got thrashed by Holland in the return game they couldn't be nicer. I guess there is such a thing as a sore winner.

The Scots aren't sore losers normally but fair & great supporters. But ok, you'll find a few idiots everywhere...

I know they're not sore losers, they were great after they lost. They turned nasty after they beat us, that's what's so weird about it.

ye my friend was there and he says how the croatian fans were singing all game and how they were much louder then the brazil fans..for years croatians all over the world had no country to support when it was yugoslavia..because of brutal war croatia had to go through to gain there independnece i think is the main reason for the great support they have from there fans..i know for me personally when i saw the croatian national team first play in 1994 against spain the tears were flowing..ever since then i have hardly missed a game..i know when i hear the national anthem i think about what my country had to go through to gain its independence..

Scots aren't always so friendly.

I've gotten into quite a few fights with Irish and Scottish football fans in A'dam. And in all honesty, it wasn't us who started it :) That's a while ago BTW.

Oranje fans suck donkey balls btw. Balkan fans and the Turks are most rabid in NT games I reckon.
